Ab main samjha mere SP 125 mein Honda service centre wale front and rear k brakes pad q change karne q bol rhe thay although 12900 kms hi run Kiya bike. Front brake was working fine except rear. Although they have changed rear brake pad as per paper but I only find slight change. They also mentioned ASK Brake pad and brake pad charges twice. Now I got to know what's ASK Brake. It's truly informative video. Although service centre walo ne chuna laga diya but still future k liye helpful hai yeh video. Thanks you Mintu Bro. Jai Hind.

Yah baat to hai bhai mere pass bhi Yamaha FZS version 3 hai uska bhai 4000 mein original display Jo hota hai vah khinch Gaya uske bad mein local lagaya bhai rs 300 ka vah abhi 15000 km chal gaya hai abhi tak kharab nahin hua hai original bhai 4000 mein aur local Bajaj ka jo mein lagaya bhai Pulsar 150 ka vah 15000 km chalaye gadi abhi aur abhi tak kharab nahin hua hai bhai abhi bhi dekha jaaye to 11000 km chal gaya aur kharab nahin hua hai to local hi sahi hai Yamaha wala chor hai chor hai main ek bar bhi dispatch change nahin karvaya hun service centre mein kyunki jitna main dispatch change hoga utna main to Bike ka service ho. Jayega aur local lagane ka aur fayda bhi hai ki bhai cheap and best bhi hai aur jyada chalta bhi hai Mera local mein hi work hota hai kabhi-kabhi chalta

For better stopping power, control, safety and feel some brake pads don't last that long. Also brake caliper pins need periodic greasing for longer brake pad life. I had Hornet 160R which had endless brake pad life but provides worse braking than my FZ25, but FZ25 rear brake pads' life is much shorter , 7k to 11k+ depending upon the usage pattern and provides far better braking.

Aftermarket disk pads use krne se apki disk plate jaldi kharab ho gai hai bhai, duplicate disk pads ka material hard hota hai, original disk pads soft material ki hoti hai isliye jaldi ghas jati hai par braking better milti hai or disk plate ki life bhi zada milti hai, or yamaha ki original disk pads Indonesia ya Thailand se import hoti hai isliye price zada hoti hai.

People who have this problem, first after riding some time stop the bike with out using back break, see is their heat in disk plate, if there is heat than it means that disk brake is engaged even with out you applying the brakes due to which there will be pad and disk plate damage due to executive heat generation, not only that mailage and pickup will drops, you need completely service hydrolic system, changing pad is not a solution.

Bhai scooter ka to pata nhai lekin ye sasta break pad lagwa k apne apni bike ki disc ko kharab karliya hai, bohot jada disc ghis chuki h kyuki aap sasta break pad lagwate h aur bohot late me change karwate hai. Is smye apko apna break pad aur disc dono change krwa lena chahiye bohot buri halat h dono ki.

Mera Yamaha saluto 125 mein yamaha ka disc toh bohot jaldi ghis tah tha. Aur cost 280 ka hai. Aur disc pad disc brake se chipak jata tha panic braking par. Mera ek bar iss ke chalte accident bhi ho chuka hai. Minor accident tha but disc brake ghis tha wo bhi 3 months pe. Phir maine bahar ka disc pad lagaya bhai pura saal bhar chala. Panic situation mein bhi mera accident nahi hua. Aur uss disc pad ki cost sirf 120 ki thi. Uske baad se bahar ka hi disc pad use karta hu. Still working fine. I totally agree with what he said about the service center's general approach to draining money out of your pocket without conducting a proper inspection regarding the issue. However, bro, you missed some points here that you should have mentioned here. Firstly, whether it's a scooty/bike, premium/normal version doesn't matter. What matters is the speed at which you are riding and the braking you are initiating to stop the vehicle. Secondly, of course, the difference between local and branded disc brakes matters. Have you ever used sintered brake pads? Braking is the most important thing, and it should be appropriate according to your riding style (How hard you brake)....!!

You should have some basic knowledge about wear, speed, friction, heat and mass. Whatever you are talking here is wrong. Scooter is running in a very slow speed comparison with R15. More speed = more brake = more heat = more wear. Just use common sense.
