Cracking effort, great video Phill. Totally get the love of ascending those alpine villages... I think it was in one of your early lake district videos that you said the bike is the best balance of tourism, with the intimate interaction with your terrain/setting of hiking but ability to see so much of the country almost on a par with motor touring and I totally agree. The places you get to ride through whilst deep in the pain zone here are sensational.

This is indeed, ‘Cyclo Tourism Without Mercy’ …. cunningly disguised as a bike race 🤣- but for sure I agree, I’ve explored so much more of this world as a result of combining a love of fitness with a natural sense of curiosity (and a dislike of walking 🤣) !

The most beautiful of the 3 videos from the Dolomites with the best racing is out on Sunday - I’d guess it took about 80hours to edit (am still doing the narration ) - so hope it does better 🤞
