The Trossachs are up past Glasgow, not in the borders (as mentioned early in your video) Can't beat lomo kit, its great, and dead cheap. Everybody rides past Dumfries and Galloway, just over the border, and the roads here are brilliant, great views and super quiet for traffic.

Fantastic, well done for the 10k! Watched all of your videos - all brilliant and extremely well presented and interesting. Living in Shropshire I see many familiar places in your videos - what a beautiful county it is. Scotland is great when it’s dry and you choose a place with no midges. We went in hot sticky August and they were everywhere or so it seemed. Always look forward to you next video 👍

Yes wonderful scenery did the journey for the second times a long time ago on a z750 twin before it was called anything but a trip round the highlands. The first time was on a gold flash with a sort of road rocket motor. Both bikes were almost the perfect bike for the mixture of roads. Hope the midges and clegs didnt inflict too much irritation on you. Enjoy your channel. Looking forward to the 2nd part.

Problem with giving a name is it attracts camper vans Can’t imagine what it would be like in August

The Highlands are amazing riding, I'm lucky enough be able to get there in a couple of hours. Always found the best times to go are April and September, less traffic, fewer midges and decent weather!

If you had pulled of the motorway around Dumfries, its a great road for the bikes up to Glasgow (when it isn't raining!). Been over some of those roads around Loch Lomond and up to Inverness on the bike and in a car. Definitely recognise some of those roads. When you are talking about Glen Coe and the rain, you aren't in the glen, you are going over Rannoch Moor, which is the highest pass in the UK. Great road when there isn't an accident. If there is, you might have to do an 80 mile detour to get back on road you want to be on. Been caught out that way a few times!

Nice ride, guys! Ok, the M6 is boring, but it does shortcut the distance compared to regular roads and it is nice once past Preston. Loch Lomond is pretty and I'm glad you stopped at the Commando Memorial, near Spean Bridge, as I did in 2007; the weather was wet and blowing quite a bit, but that's Scotland! The Pass of Glencoe is quite atmospheric and I visited the Massacre memorial. I went to Inverness on the northern bank of Loch Ness. I was hoping to see Ben Nevis; I know it's there, alongside Fort William, but as the cloudbase was down to about 150 foot and it was chucking it down, it Iooked as if someone had stolen the mountain! Pity, as it was a long way to come from Brisbane...
@bikerdood1100 Жыл бұрын
We will be revisiting Loch Lomand on the way back We filmed more at the memorial but it was ruined by the rain unfortunately It does get better later A bit

Hi happy friends.. I am a huge NC500 and NC767 fan. Just discovered your Tour. Happy to like and subscribe.. I am a big fan of this style of Diary vlog. My channel is a mix of road and phone candid camera footage as people don't bat an eye now when you whip out the phone for a Kodak moment :) . I wish I had your bravery to speak to camera. But the fourth wall is a problem for me as I am on the autistic scale :(. Don't shout at your equipment. Scottish rain is a different beast.. 🤓💯❤🩹keep safe my friends , sending the happy mojo vibes . I love Debbs' Lid.. awesome 🤗😁

We are still working on speaking to the camera in all honesty It’s not easy and you are very self conscious the first time but you just have to go with it . We have trips to France and mid Wales coming up It takes ages to edit them

Yes.. I will most likely wear dark glasses :) haah . Igot myself a good editing pc holding a NVIDIA rtx 3070 with some tax back monies. best investment in equipment I have made.. Editing is an art form, Its done when its done :)) I am pretty good at colour correction . Now I am applying colour Grades to convey mood. You sort of have to develop a good nose if you can understand. Sometimes I will choose music first and then add video . Your channel is a window into the heart . :)))😎❤🩹💯 @@bikerdood1100
