So you mean to say roads are in good condition. I don't know how often you travel by roads but these potholes are the major reasons for accidents and everyone does not do rash driving. Pot holes should be immediately repaired on a highway and that's why toll tax is collected everyday in huge amount

About my blaming his rash riding, the point was to make him understand that people living in glass houses shouldn't throw stones at others. Since you claim not to know how often I travel by roads, please let me briefly educate you. I learnt to drive in a Landmaster in the 80s and have driven my Ambassador extensively all over the North-East roads (in way worse condition than shown in this video). Currently, my son drives my Creta with regular trips to the North-East, Bihar, Jharkhand, etc from West Bengal ... Do you think that if road conditions improve in West Bengal, this Biker Niladri will give up his rash driving ways out of his own free will ? Have you not seen his multiple videos where he almost died due to his own reckless driving ?

In the beginning of August I was planning to buy a new bike, and ended up on Pulsar 220, and to my surprise after sometime I saw that you are also having the same bike. Now I can say that I have made a right decision. Bro I watch your blogs closely. In the video at 18:50 that is not an NBSTC bus. Bro I also have done kolkata to Islampur from both bike and Car in the lockdown itself. I got a flat Tyre somewhere after more gram and it was raining cats and dogs that day. The road conditions 70% good and 30% bad. But both NHAI And State governments are on it. Every road which is good had this condition in past. This is the way forward i think. Those buses at 13:30, 18:46 and 19:16 are not Government buses, Govt buses are marked in North Bengal as "NBSTC". These were cheap local rip-offs (to fool people like us to think that they're Govt buses) with illiterate ganwar drivers, jhaant inko fark nahi padhta hai ki accident hoga ki nahi. NBSTC bus drivers are sometimes rash - true, par kam se kam inke jaise anpadh ganwar nahi hai. Anyways, you are absolutely right about the terrible road infrastructure in West Bengal, and the indifference in attitude by the locals. Attitude mein hi hai ki "Kuchh nahi honewala yahaan/Kichchu Hobe Na (Bangla mein)", toh SAB CHANGA SI mode mein chal raha hai wahaan. Aap log kuchh kijiye, yeh Trinamool-CPM inko hataiye wahaan se, aur Central level ke ruling party ko laaiye, tab jaakar aapko achche roads milenge wahaan. Har highway par kam se kam 4 lanes honi chahiye, including divider - taaki wrong side driving ki samasyayein kam ho sake. Aap jaise West Bengal mein rehnewale padhe-likhe logo ko hi kuchh karna padega. Warna aisa hi chalta rahega, aur pichhwaade ka... khair, baki ka toh pata hi hoga aapko. Take care and drive safe brother.

just one question, your 220 is somewhere at 8000rpm at 120kmph, mine climbs to 7800rpm at 100kmph? is it just my bike or have they improved the new version? i own a 2014 pulsar 220 clocked 87k+ kilometres on it, went through two engine rebuilds and now its my garage queen and my weekend ride. currently i daily a 2018 duke 390.

Hi...Niladri. I from Malda . The route which you took from Malda Bypass to NTPC Farakka, the bad patch was Sujapur-Kalichak pathetic , it's a night mare for any set of wheels especially 2wheel and private cars. But there is a smooth area as an alternative too that is via Sadullapur -Mothabari High school- Kaliachak patch of road which is a bit long but inside city and ok in daytime till 5-6pm is as equal to the Botulbari patch which you took earlier while coming from Islampur instead of Dalkhola. While returning the awsome route taken by you was so great and so lovely. Amazing kms keep them rolling....

Both the buses @18:50 were not NBSTCs, but private buses with the livery of the NBSTCs which is pretty common in North Bengal.. Buses do take the right side of the road on NH34 since the left side of the road will be occupied by trucks stuck in jam for hours or even days.. buses carry passengers and they cannot afford to maintain the traffic queue and keep standing for days unlike trucks.. NH34 tests ur riding skills, intelligence and compassion.. keep calm and ride safe.. ur vlogs r awesome.. 🤘🙂
