Actually they arent. Just like the Government and media gaslit the American public with the Italian mafia, the Taliban, etc., they are doing the same with the cartels. When growing up we fell on hard times and I remember that Bernie from the Hells Angles {Ontario}helped us out with some food and a bit of work at a fundraiser. He never asked for anything in return and that to this day means a great deal as that was just over 30 years ago. I know that the Hells Angles do a lot of bad things and I don’t condone it but I also seen the good in them. But I will never forget Bernie for his kindness.

I rode with the Hells Angels back in '72. Just got back to the states from Vietnam.....bought a chopper, and was riding outside SF towards San Jose and saw a group of bikes comin up from behind. My mirrors were vibrating too much to make out a lot of detail until they started going around me. As I remember, there were approximately 20 to 24 bikes, two rows, one on each side of me. They were flying colors from various cities in Northern and southern California. Oakland, SF, San Jose and were all admiring my ride. They were all past me in about a minute or two, so, for a couple of minutes..........I rode with the Hells Angels!

A lot of members retire out from club participation after the years. It is a lot of dedication and work to ride all over and go to events and raise money for fundraisers like toys for tots or Autism. Once one gets older that get difficult keep up. So for years of participation the older members of the club can ask of retirement, retain their colors and recognition as long standing members. That takes a lot of time and dedication to the club to get to that point, but anyone can turn in their colors, club paraphernalia and leave if they choose at any time if they need to. Life happens and most often they are out with Honor and respect when they do.

Folks are recognized, to be asked to prospect for a club. Nothing against your sled, I have a close brother that had a Rebel 250 years ago that we beat on and modded mercilessly. Good times! Enjoy your bike, but most clubs want a minimum of 700cc or 45ci ish to participate as not to hold up riding around. Enjoy your sled mate, they are stupid reliable, and fun as hell as long as you don't need to get on the freeway.
