Good mourning Great story. I have lived through a simular situation on a much smaller platform Our nieberhood was only 6 or streets a couple of blocks but it was my/our world much younger then. Our hood had come under influnce of a few Over imflunced by money from drugs thugs and absence of strong pospositve young leaders(influencers) fathets at work mothers too.young role models in viet.nam wroung plople leading controling youth.that all changed when a few guys returned one of whom was a purple hart silver and bronze star medal awarded point man named Sketer my b.f Older brother.he was admired and looked upto befor his service after returing his along with about 8 other returnning vets togeather with ¹2 or so mothers some who had lost sons in the war led a stand to re capture the minds of the jo bless youths rekindlling ownership ,pride,and hope in our selfs and our nieborhood.we rein vested in ourselfs.that same sprit that our parents mrigrated from our southern roots for a better life for their kids.became our motivation keep your eyes on the prize that strenthened us to reclame ourselves and our world. I have returned home 50years later for the furnal for one of thouse women my n.d.N Christine M.the nieghborhood still shines brightly testmint to the fact that one man/woman can make a diffarance And when we stand togarther we are unstoppable Long live Cleve Land¡¡ G.
