Honestly if you cannot respect Jett as a talented motocross racer than you really know nothing about the sport. You can dislike him but can’t deny he’s a badass .

I have 0 problem with Jett. He's navigating a crazy hype train the best a 20yo can. His talent is without question. I do, however, despise his fans from Australia. The amount of disrespect they fling at every other rider of incredible talent is BS.

I completely disagree with the idea that Americans have a problem with foreigners coming here and dominating. It's just not true. We all loved CR22 and still do. I was bummed when he retired. We are all excited to have Prada here hopefully competing for wins. Nobody cares that Jett is Australian.

Jett and Hunter got humbled, and it was great to watch, and now they have to work harder to get back on top. It's going to be a must-see T.V. to watch how they are going to handle the pressure to get back to the top. I've been watching this sport since the 70s and I've seen this happen many times. The brothers will be just fine. Felt has Weege working overtime to cover for his boys..!! 😂

These comments are funny. As a journalist I provide 5 pieces of insight that actually come from sources within the team to help provide some explanation as to what we saw at the race, plus examples of how it has worked in the past, and the comments are sill brutal about excuses or covering for the Lawrences.

Having different bikes is what drives the industry, its what sells bikes. My heroes early on rode Kawasaki, I like KTM for outdoors, Honda and Yamaha have been killing it, and Ken Roczen creates at least interest in the Suzuki (Yall really need to update the RM, Suzuki). Yeah, of course it has a lot to do with the riders, but the whole reason factories pay out millions for motocross teams is to sell their bikes.

I am an engineer in the automotive industry and we do component tests all the time. The golden rule is to NOT change multiple parameters at a time since you simply have a hard time to analyze the outcome. I wonder why Honda took the risk changing multiple parameters in a highly complex system at once for A1. 🧐

If Jett isn't comfortable on the bike he can still win, but is going to have some sketchy moments deep in the pack, Hunter can grind out 5ths. Tomac is back, but that means beast modes some nights, some nights an inexplicable 7th. If Sexton isn't TTF'ing or stalling he's podium every round. Webb will be there around the top 5 ready to capitalize, everyone else is kind of a wild card

This season, Jett and Hunter are going to learn how to develop a bike. When they moved to the 450, Chase already laided the ground work for a successful bike. Ill take a quote from Ricky, "Not all riders know how to test a bike." I believe it was ricky in an interview a long time ago. I dont remember. If someone can correct me, that would be awesome.

Hell chase has made that excuse for years always blaming the bike!!

@themodifiedlife2774 so he dominated a 2023 moto series without the previous years champion in it. Then dominates 2024 supercross with by your comment/excuse, Chase on a new bike and Eli recovering from serious injury. Your generational talent link has a lot of holes in it. But yes blame the bike.
