In high school (1998) my first ride was a 1986 Toyota 4x2 pickup that I shared with my dad. It was vanilla colored, had 160k miles on it, a cassette player with the volume knob missing, and boombox speakers behind the seat for sweet bass. I loved the reliability of the little pickup so much that in 1999 I bought the first truck of my own and it was a 1996 Tacoma 4x2. It came with radio only head unit, 5 speed, power nothing, and 80K miles on it. I had the Tacoma until I was 24, traded it for a 98 4 runner, crashed the 4 runner a few years later and then bought the 96 Tacoma again for 1100$ and owned it for 7 more years and it had 165k miles when it finally gave up the ghost.

Didn't have a car in high school but shortly there after for college commuting. First ca was a 1993 Dodge Shadow in white with a gray interior. 2.2 liter 4 cyl with a 5 speed manual, whopping 93 horsepower. Ran like a champ, never left me stranded but had all the acceleration of a 3 legged camel.

That CVO is beautiful! I had an Electra Glide Ultra but no where near the shine as that CVO. I have a Fat Bob now but I'm disabled, it's in the rears for registration and I haven't fired it up in three years. Such is life.

1984 Isuzu Pup Diesel. Longbed. I lowered it. Put 14 inch rims/low profile tires and no shocks in the rear. It sat on the rear axle with U Bolts.

I'm so glad you bought the firetruck! My first vehicle was a 73 Chevy K10 short bed, looked just like the light blue Scottsdale that you looked at, except mine was desert tan primer. I bought it when I was 14 in 1994, and sold it around '00 when I bought a LS1 F-Body. I kick myself everyday for that.

I had a 1988 Hyundai Excel. 2 doors, 4 speed and no condition. I grew up in metro Atlanta, that car stayed 100 degrees with the windows down during the summer. I think the car cost $4k brand new. It had 88k miles on it when it was traded in for a compact pickup

Didn't get my first car in High School but right after I graduated. I got an 05 Buick Lacrosse CXL with 137k miles. It was my moms car but she bought a Dodge Truck. I still have the Buick and it's sitting at 150k after 2 years. Beautiful car drives great, only had the expected problems from being in a snowy salty area.

My first vehicle was when I was 16 and I had got myself a 1977 Ford 351 custom 4x4 with a 4 speed standard transmission with the locking hubs where you had to get out manually lock the hubs and then put it in 1st gear 4x4 I loved that truck but I sold it for a 1986 El Camino with a fully built 454 I miss those cars

my first car? 1959 BASE Chevy Brookwood wagon my grandparents had bought NEW then blew the engine on a trip to Kansas so I got it with a rebuilt 239 blue flame six mated to the three on the tree, and manual everything. Now that was 1973, and the poor old thing was rusted out.

I never hear you guys talk about the Ninja H2r engine, now that would be a swap. Put the H2r in the john Deer. I have always wanted to put the H2r in a 4x4 brick buggy like a RZR that would be a beast 326 horsepower right out the box from a 4cyl. I can think of so many projects hell toss that I to the slingshot that would double its power or a power wheels project lol the options are endless. Please do a H2r project my friends.

i passed out high school this year 2022 and i been driving a Mercedes ml 350 2000, which had alot of problems in the start were i knew it was a big mistake buying it, didnt fix shit and ran that piece of junk for 3 years of my life with all the problem it had on the car, later on i realized that the car is still living with the same problems and havent got worsed since the day i bought it, so i gave my car to the dealership and they gave me a long list of parts that needs to be replaced, replaced of broken parts and now she is a killer, look brand new, feels news and all.......................
