Nothing better than something like this for weaving through chaotic mega cities with street markets and tons of pedestrians. They make no sense in the US but are perfect for other countries.

I’m from France and this Motorcycle looks like a MASH Fifty. For your information, MASH is a French brand belonging to the SIMA Group, an importer of brands like Moto Morini, Hyosung, Royal Enfield on France. MASH is a French brand created in 2012 and surfed on the “Neo-retro wave” by proposing motorcycles like cafe racers or classical scrambler. The SIMA strategy for this brand is simple : all design and look are created in a French factory based in Beaune (a French city). And for the construction, everything is made in China or India, with the European norms. I’ve bought one of them in 2014 and that’s why I recognise this style… and these problems (especially for the fuel tank).

I don't understand what you're fussing about, with the tyres. It looks like a typical 1970's to 1990's 125cc to 250cc sports or commuter road bike. Skinny tyres (front = 2.75 to 3.00 / rear = 3.00 to 3.25) width. My son's 1974 CZ 250-471.0.005 Sport 2 stroke twin originally had OEM Barum 3.00-18 front and Barum 3.25-18 rear tyres, which were swapped out for Mitas 3.25-18 front & Mitas 3.50-18 rear.

I know the guy who used to be the US importer for TMEC dual sport bikes. 200cc Zongshen engine was fairly stout. I remember him telling me that the oil they toss in is actually the start of the break-in period. In other words, when you first start the bike, let it run for several minutes. Then drain it and put in real oil. A few weeks after putting it together, my bike got damaged by a woman running me up a curb on a dual left-hand turn (broke some bones, too), but the bike still ran on and on (after banging some bent things back with a hammer). Rode it for two years, year-round (southwest Arizona) commuting 33 miles round trip daily. It still ran when I bought a new one from him, but it was nice to get a new one without all the bent bits...

They have been selling those for years all over the internet. They have a 223cc OHC engine, and a Honda design. It should be about 15hp, Top speed should be around 60mph. The decent version of that engine comes with a speed of 6 and EFI, none of which are sold in the USA. The engine is what was in the Honda crf230, its basically that engine. If they make a decent bike it would retail for between 3-4 k so all they sell is direct ship cheaply put together bikes like that one. The dealers do not want them they cannot sell them, the average person in other countries buy them up, cheap light and easy transportation…it is not for North Americans , motorcycles to the average American are death traps, the concept to shifting gears terrifying to the majority.

My 1969 Suzuki AS50 was a similar size but it seems that EVERYTHING is much bigger nowadays. Latest BMW X1 is the same size as the first X3 for instance.

Yep, the 'bigger is better' mentality has taken over big time. Look at the Mini car for example. The modern ones look like they're on steroids, and the 'Mini' Countryman is as big as an SUV. But they kept the 'Mini' name! The 'bigger is better' mentality is subconsciously or consciously connected with big-ego issues.

This looks like a great bike to make an electric conversion w/ the 72v Death To Gas kit.... It's pretty much a plug and play w/ any 2 bolt or 4 bolt engines, like the Honda trail bike or mopeds, along w/ many other bikes. 😁👍

This really puts into perspective how good a deal my 06 dl650 with 42k was for the same price

That would be perfect for just puttering around my neighborhood and the campground. I think the sound is pretty good for that.

Any item sent back to Amazon and resold will have an LPN sticker on it. Look for it on the packaging somewhere. Great Video!

Those bikes and the 400cc variety are everywhere in China. Over there you can buy them new for like $800 or less, or like $300 2nd hand. A few days in the rain and everything on it is rusting. But it gets you from point a to b.

I paid $2500 for my '01 Shadow ACE 750, runs like a top, i love that thing.

Let's be honest, for $2500 brand new and shipped, if it's a brand new running, functioning 250cc bike then you've not got much to complain about. Could be a fun project bike .

My Brixton Cromwell 125 ABS was 2800 USD with our crazy taxes in Europe and it's actually not too bad.
