Sehrish is just an intern and has no authority to speak to long-term employee in that tone. Maamuli clerk?! Everyone should be treated with respect, no matter what their position is. She has no manners or common sense. This is an office setting and not her home where she is everybody’s laadli. But, I think Maham should not have spoken when Sarim was scolding Sehrish. Mentioning the incident was enough. Sehrish’s family, especially her mom and brother, are at fault. Sehrish is poisoning her mom’s mind against Rumi and then her mom starts feeling resentful and jealous.

@@maryamasim8269 I don’t know why these mothers have different standards for their daughters versus their bahu’s. Often, more is expected of the bahu when it comes to household chores. Also, the bahu has less freedom. Rumi has to ask permission even to go to her maayka while Sehrish wanders freely in her own car. Only when their daughters’ future sasural complain about their kaamchor habits and attitude will the mothers learn. Parents should guide BOTH sons and daughters about expectations and etiquette. Sehrish’s father is more sensible and realistic. He is justifiably concerned about Sehrish’s habits, attitude, and behavior. I am sooo sick of Sehrish’s mom and Tabish droning on about Sehrish being laadli. They are constantly worried about Sehrish getting angry/offended. Sehrish only gets angry when she doesn’t get her way. Let her be angry. The real world won’t tolerate and indulge her and she will get a long-overdue reality check.
