Me and my brothers decided to do a bike tour with our old bikes from Pittsburgh, PA to DC.
The Great Allegheny Passage connects with C&0 Canal Towpath at Cumberland, MD to create a 334.5-mile route between Pittsburgh and Washington, DC.
I hope this video inspires you to explore and live life to the fullest.

I agree with castle228 in admiring you guys for doing this 334.5 mile ride aboard your old bikes. Too many folks are being fed the idea that they need to purchase expensive tour-specific bikes for multi-day tours which is not at all true. You guys looked like you had a great tour and, yes, it is inspiring. Cheers!

Excellent! You did a great job on this video. The editing, music, and shots, kept it interesting and beautiful. Also, the way you created this reflects how the pace of this trail can be slow and enjoyable. Thank you for returning me to the GAP and C&O, I cycled it in 2016 and would love to do it again someday. The trail is a gem for everyone!

I only have one of mine left….he’s an Army Veteran, dealing with managing injuries to his back. I’m a Navy Veteran….I plan on doing this ride someday! Bravo Zulu, gentlemen, We’ll done!

Fantastico! Bien hecho! Y el video es super interesante. Gracias.

Awesome chill video. I live near Pittsburgh and my wife, our friends and I have ridden the GAP in sections but have never gone the whole way to Cumberland then on to DC. It's definitely on my bucket list but I need to get the bikepacking gear together. I noticed that you stayed at a couple of places along the way. Did you have to set that up in advance?
@profesam8457
@profesam8457 2 жыл бұрын
Take a tip from these guys... just get simple equipment and get out there. Don’t delay because you need to get anything “fancy.” There are towns all along the way. A ride like this will not have you needing full-suspension bikes or strand you 50 miles from civilization.
