Your videos are over-the-top perfect! Prioritizing of scenery and historical narrative. Also, perfect e-assist (no one would even realize that you have e-assist). Scenery/wildlife viewing, and no speed-enhancing use of e-assist is my goal. Senior handicapper here with mobility issues. My Hase Lepus no-balance trike, on scenic bike path, is everything to me! Also carry monocular on neck loop for increased viewing of scenery and wildlife! You two are SO good at what you do! Thank you for sharing!

@@Adventuresonebikes Just when I thought winter was over, we're getting 3-6" of snow later today here in Northwestern Connecticut. If you have any plans to be in CT this year, let us know. We have plenty of great trails like the Farmington River Trail and the Airline Trail. If we're not riding somewhere outside of CT, Jan and I would love to ride with you (or at least try to keep up). We haven't taken the eBike plunge yet. Our plans include Zion / Bryce Nat'l Parks end of this month, Cross New Hampshire Trail, Arctic Coast of Norway and any other places we can fit in to our schedule. What are your plans for the year? @@steveretiredandcycling Hi. Yes the snow yesterday was fun. We didn't get more than a couple of inches. You have a very busy riding year. We are jealous -- but we both still are working for just a little while longer. We'd love to find a way to ride with you; and I'm pretty sure you have it backwards -- we will have a hard time keeping up with you! Right now our big adventure is to bike the entire Great Allegheny Passage over 3 days in June and take the train back to whatever end we start at. I have a 5 day Baltimore agenda planned, and a couple of nights in the Poughkeepsie area (Dutchess Rail Trail, Old Croton Acqueduct Trail, and the Wallkill Valley Trail). In July we hope to meet up with our trail friends Don and Nancy and ride the D&L Trail around Easton PA. Next year we want to go to Europe and take a ebike/river cruise. Have a wonderful day! Looks like a nice trail to try out! Have you ever been on the Northwest Lancaster County River Trail? You can start at either end at Columbia (where there's covered parking under the bridge) or the Falmouth boat landing. Beautiful well-maintained 28 mile out and back trail that gets busy on nice weekend afternoons so the best time to ride is either weekend mornings or during the week, otherwise be prepared to be saying "On your left!" a lot. Plenty of places to stop and rest along the way, two covered picnic pavilions, Porta-potties, places to eat in Marietta, park benches all along the way, only a few short inclines, and a nice mix of tree-lined curvy sections and open farmed fields.

Thanks for watching!! We rode this trail in 2021, so I had to look back at the video to try and answer your question 🙃 Plus, we no longer have the bikes in that video -- and they are no longer made. I haven't been on a bike with road narrow tires in a long time; but I do remember that for a brief bit right after we started the ride the gravel was new and was tough for even our bikes. After that, there were the occasional "patches" mostly it was a pretty smooth trail -- at least for our bikes. Not sure if this helps, but what I can find on our old bikes state they had 700c aluminum wheels.

@@Adventuresonebikes It was def a longshot haha, but thanks for the info. I think should be fine with 28mm tubeless at 50 psi, they are more like 30mm+ at that pressure.

Hi. Thanks for watching. It is a nice trail. Every trail has it's own special nuances. I enjoy the history on the C&O Canal Trail; but the Perkiomen also has some history as well.
