This trail is on my must ride list. I had only a chance to ride Cleveland end. Thanks for the preview. I like the changes on a trail.

That is something to be proud of. Both Pt. 1 & 2 went though some gorgeous scenery!

Great as always. I like that you alerted people to being thoughtful, courteous & aware around horses: They can certainly get spooked, which is no fun for anybody. Once in my velomobile on the KATY trail I came upon some skittish horses, afraid to cross a trestle. I carefully navigated past them, using ample communication w/ the riders... & then they followed me (seeing that it was safe to cross). : )

I think they should be charged with littering when they let their horses crap all over the trail and don't even stop to pick it up. How disgusting and selfish of them to ruin the trail or everyone else. It's like that at the Maple Highlands trail too.

Great Video! I can't wait to try out some of these eastern trails. So far I have only done biking in the west like the Oregon Coast and Seattle and surrounding islands. I look forward to a distinct change of scenery.

A lot of those Trails are trails where the railroads once stood until the Branchline railroads were abandoned and bankrupt.

This is the first time i have heard Massillon pronounced with a "Z" sound. Also I have heard Millersburg establishments tend to be closed on Sundays. Regardless, nice job covering the route.

We have ridden the GAP/C&O and Katy Trail. It appears the Ohio to Erie Trail has a large percentage of urban riding. Is that the case or just the portion filmed is urban?
@NobleInventionBikeTouringАй бұрын
The OTET is a bit more populated than the GAP, more similar to the C&O in terms of towns and population. There is a fair mix of city/town and country - maybe 50/50?

I'm surprised we don't have a trail that goes from Columbus to Dayton but you can ride from Dayton to Cincinnati

When are walkers on shared trails going to understand that walking on the left FACING bike traffic is much safer than having bikes approaching you from behind where you cannot see them and often can't hear them?

Easch of the Amish's horseys has a name! I wont listen to bossey people no matter how well intentioned. When I want something or anything from another adult, today I simply ask that person! Telling anyone what to do when they are grown just wont work. I wear my helment also. When it gets dark try riding some of the trail then. i never had the money for any hotel at all! Just carried enough for some food. I get hungry. i have on the instant pot right now, beans, and brown rice and dried veggies. Some spices too. I peddled from 11 years old, to 65 years old. My left hip is going out on me been disabled over 49 years too. Paul in Ohio This is me I prefer to let others know what we can do instead of all the stuff we should not do. Positive stuff!

Why in the world did you take the sidewalk at Schrock Road? There are bike lanes available, and if you had taken the left fork, you would have gone under Schrock Road and remained on the trail.

I rode this trail from north to south earlier this year and most of it was nice but the parts in the Amish areas were absolutely ruined by the horse crap. It was raining that day too so it was disgusting. I'm wondering if they could install some kind of high frequency audio device that might help keep horses off the trail or else install ballards in the middle so they can't fit the buggys through. I just can't believe that they're so ignorant as to not only bring an unpredictable animal on the trail but not even pick up the crap. I also would recommend if you have the time checking out the Easton Town Square near Columbus, not far off the trail. Part indoor mall and part lifestyle center, they got many fine fragrances to help you forget the Amish nightmare section of the trail.
