This is a awesome trail. I rode it all away from end to end in summer on a way back to DC from Harpers Ferry. Thanks for the video. 🙂

I used to commute every day from Herndon to Tysons corner. By the way that idiot that failed to stop is why people get hurt riding that trail and why people in cars hate bike riders. I lived at the 23 1/2 mile marker. Ride down to the Key bridge and cross over to Georgetown or jump onto the trail that takes you 22 miles to Mount Vernon. By crossing over the Key bridge you drop down onto the C+O canal and head West to Brunswick MD or you can hop onto the Capitol Crescent trail and go ever to MD. From there on the weekends you can connect to the Rock Creek parkway which is pedestrian only and go past the National zoo and down to the Georgetown waterfront and the start point of the C+O canal.

Sounds like you live in a great area for bike trails. I'm jealous! Thanks for the additional comments and for watching our channel. We hope to "see" you again on our next adventure.

On an average, how many miles can it go. at cruise control looks great with gopro.

The bikes we had on this ride would go about 40 miles on a charge in the lowest assist mode. They are peddle assist and don’t have “cruise control” other than how fast we peddle! There are times in my videos when I speed up the actual raw footage to show more trail in less time. Thanks for watching.

Is this connected to Virginia Capital trail? Have you gone on the VC trail?
@Adventuresonebikes2 жыл бұрын
Hi Eileen, Thanks for watching. Looks like the VC trail is between Richmond and Jamestown and I can't see any link to this trail in the Washington DC area. The W&OD goes NW from Arlington. We have not ridden the VC trail yet, but it is on our list.

Why not make a monetary incentive to commute by other means in the DMV

Couple things. 1.A number of hills you skipped. 2. You Pasted Reston Town Center and said NOTHING about it! 3. These Additional trails usually are short to get to a side walk. Ebikes if they cant see it, it doesnt exist.

It's unfortunate you didn't care for the video. A couple of things: (1) we aren't trying to show every inch of a trail, just enough to give people a feel; (2) we also aren't trying to tell people about things that aren't readily apparent from the trail -- we are highlighting the trail, (3) Sad you have such negative feelings about ebikes -- but then again I didn't know ebikes could see :)
