It's a stupid rule that a game ends at 40 points when a player is on a streak and wants to continue. Then it is practically impossible to beat the legendary 27 points in a row. Tayfun could easily prove that. If this limit were not there, we could eventually expect even higher values than the maximum that is currently set at 40 points.

Extremely poignant observation there fella. There should be a "let's see where this goes" clause and it should be at the discretion of the referee should the player request it. If there is for instance a last turn rule for the yellow then the points cut at 40 no matter how much the white puts on top. But it is a tricky conundrum when you consider that after the 40 points are taken the tension of the match would be over etc...
