I actually think Jump Force's amateratsu is better because if you do it again while the flames are there you make the flames follow them, so it hunts them down and could force them to panic, which is how Sasuke uses amateratsu in the anime

You could also do the second part of it, Kagutsuchi, which just concentrates all of the flames on them for quite a it of damage. Don't know how though, maybe just do the special again?

Yeah the ability is kaguisuchi which allows him to manipulate the Amaterasu like that. Strangely though it seems it's cannon that the Amaterasu tracks the user down no matter if you have the ability or not (as can be seen with Itachi). Sasuke uses kaguituchi whenever you see him use Amaterasu on his sword or his Susanoo or even just making shapes from the Amaterasu. Wish they could have made the Amaterasu more manipulatable though, since it is my favorite ability in the series.

I tested it in beta and kagutsuchi aka controlled Amaterasu is good for just getting in a bit extra damage and I found that the enemy takes damage every time they enter the Amaterasu area of effect

Jump Force has the visuals but people should know that J stars had a cool combo system, most people were treating it like a button mashing game and instantly called it trash. No one bothered putting time learning the game cuz each character has a different playstyle

The fireball jutsu in j stars is a set up tool you throw 1 or 2 of them and while they are homing in on the opponent you can do a dash attack into the chidori and then the fire balls will hit the opponent or a different combo an dc tho fire balls will hit the opponent either way it's a great tool it doesn't look like it homes in on the opponent in jump force though.

This series is dope, keep the grind up! Also I like the effect of J stars amaterasu more(because it does an explosion) but the fact the the JF one can move around towards the opponent gives it the edge to me.

Didn't play the beta either but looking at multiple gameplay I'm disappointed on how they did Yusuke ( my main)in jump force. First of all idk about you but I prefer j star yusuke design over jump force. No gameplay I saw NEVER SHOW yusuke running with a spirit gun or shooting multiple shot. His combo system seem like a bit downgraded version of j star, no shotgun and its look like their no way to effectively connect a spirit wave without using an assist. Lastly no demon/mazoku form. There some things that I like, such as the organ murderer move and his ultimate but the cons outweigh with the pros

Damn your comparaison lacks depth. You focus almost always on how it "feels" and never on the mechanical meaning and impact of a change. For example no mention on how his chidori and fire ball no longer track, on how is amaterasu no longer drain meters but only life now, no mention about is susanoo awakening being OP because he was basically invincible during the whole thing, etc. You didn't even mentionned that he can now use kagutsuchi after releasing amaterasu !

Sasuke was op in J- Star, do his square combo then use chidori which stuns the opponent so you can do a second chidori and before hitting the opponent can hit the ground you could do chidori for a third time if you are fast enough. Amaterasu when the gauge charge up, hold the circle button that would drain ever character life bar for a kill state the opponent still can move and hit you but for big maps it would work all the time.

The onix chidori is can actually go into a senbon that extends farther than the j stars version and also the assist thing is a low blow since the whole button thing comes down to preference not overall gameplay or fluidity

Iwu'd have loved if he had his Planetary Devastation 'Chibaku Tensei' or his Shinra Tensei instead of Amaterasu, ilike his ultimate though it is a copy and paste of Storm 4 Sasuke's ultimate, to bad there arent tag ultimates/moves in Jump Force like the Storm Series with sasuke using Indra Bow, iwish both of Naruto and Sasuke get their Adulte Versions from Boruto as DLC cause they haven't used 50% of both characters abilities

I was rank 1 in j stars victory vs on ps3.
