Nicely made I like the set up. Makes me want to make u a copy for myself. The walnuts beautiful. My last one I had a piece of red wood and walnut turned nice and I use it while lying in my hospital bed. Im bed bound from spine troubles. I've bright red exotic hard wood looks like blood I forget its name but its loaded with silica and eats tooling. Church wanted a pulpit so I made it from that. wood. My best customers were churches it seemed for a few years. Your a true craftsman the way you designed and built those. My father taught me cabinetry And building houses. His love was cabinet building and built in specialty type.

First thought was "My goodness, they use Walnut" what a beautiful idea. I'm making my own pony so it will probably end up being pine or beechwood, but as a cabinet maker myself I can appreciate the quality of your work. I'm fascinated by the grip/pusher at 1:15. We don't use those professionally because we have to have a large cover over the saw blade 95% of the time, so we have to be able to push wood at an angle, but it has certainly given me something to think about as well...
@bilimwoodworks4 жыл бұрын
Hi~ Andy~ That push stick has leather grip. I like to use leather grips. It's the back of the leather.I'm glad my video was helpful. Safe woodworking~ :)

Does anyone know what kind of spring is used?
@henrilebovic52299 ай бұрын
Amazing. I see that there are multiple options. Some only have one large pivot screw where the vise connects to the height adjustment. This allows it to rotate. Is there a reason why for this one you used two?
@bilimwoodworks8 ай бұрын
It is an early version that uses two bolts. If one bolt is used, it is not fixed and can rotate. So I inserted a silicone rubber ring in between. Prevents rotation and simplifies operation.
