So glad you guys have discovered Bill. I would recommend checking out his 'Cosmic Jam' in which he does the 'soundtrack' to Starsky & Hutch on the guitar. Absolutely priceless. I saw him on the Part Troll tour here in Bristol, just hilarious. It's his unique blend of music, language and surreal gags that's just so good.

Bill is a national treasure. Saw him live a few years back, in North Wales. Won Strictly Come Dancing 2020 (UK version of Dancing With The Stars) despite being the 'comedy contestant' - went in and pretty much aced it. His longer, not in front of the Queen, material is a lot less anodyne.

This was at the Royal Variety Show, which is usually attended by a member of the British royal family. It's pretty much the highest honour show to be invited to perform at, because you're performing for royalty. So yeah, it's very British 🇬🇧🤣

Bill Bailey sending up Kraftwerk, where he gets two members of Kraftwerk to join him in the sketch/skit. Or Bill, sending up Gary Numan's cars, by doing it in French. Or Bill Bailey's message to Metallica. Yhis os him quite subdued and safe, because the audience are royals, aristos and the bourgeoisie (in the cheap seats). This is a Royal Variety Performance, it's a special show for the Royals and their cronies. Bill had to underplay his lunacy here. And his politics.
