Thank you for sharing this. I have been trying to follow Bill / UNC - but this is definitely the place we get Coach’s perspective. I haven’t watched college football for decades but I will be this year.

Who knew that the Pats firing BB would've turned him into this media darling, who now does shows, has an IG account, and is on a PJ doing HS recruiting visits for the Tarheels, as a UNC football fan, I'm excited to see how things turn out for the program, I think he'll do well because of his pure football knowledge.

This is an interesting change because as hard as bill has been on players during his patriots tenure, how can he just turn that off and ease up now that he’s dealing with kids?

I think he will purposely recruit guys that are tough and smart that enjoy being coached. That’ll make it easier to coach the way he wants to.

Coach missed a chance to shad out Tar Heel WR Dyami Brown who has put up massive numbers for the Commies in the playoffs in addition to blocking his azz off.

The Machine Maker & The Button Pusher Long, long ago in a land far, far away there was a village that housed the most amazing piece of technology ever known to man. People would travel great distances to marvel at the wondrous, fantastical Machine! Nobody had ever seen such magnificence and sheer brilliance of astonishing performance. While all the village had gathered around to marvel at its incredible nature, one of the distant travelers inquired, “please, tell me who made this wondrous, brilliant machine. I must know!” One of the villagers pointed toward the base of the machine, saying “you see that guy there pushing the button?... HE’s the one who’s responsible for it!” And all of the villagers nodded in agreement. The End (P.S. the responding villager also left out the part where that Button Pusher was previously extremely mediocre at pushing buttons for years and years, until that day that he stumbled upon the village of the Machine Maker………)

At first I thought Bill had some ulterior motive with this UNC business, but now I think that he is actually making an incredibly smart move. He is the absolute perfect person to head the Anti-NIL football program. There are many, many talented and hardworking, but underrated young football players out there who care more about making the NFL or improving themselves more generally than being famous and making a lot of money in college. I'm talking about the Julian Edelman types. The UNC GM talked about this in an interview with this show a few weeks ago, but if Belichick positions UNC as the NFL Academy, where players submit themselves to an incredibly rigorous and disciplined system in exchange for the best coaching you can find in college ball, he might have a real chance of creating a program that can dominate in the current climate. Belichick proved in New England for two decades that a team of highly disciplined players beats a team of highly talented players almost every time. There is nothing about college football that makes me think that that isn't true there as well.

I'm very interested to see how he does in college. You can't argue with the success he had in the NFL but all of his sucesss is tied to Brady. Belichick did nothing as the Browns head coach. His first year in New England was Brady's first year as well. The second Brady left the Patriots became terrible and Brady won a Super Bowl in his first year with the Buccaneers. You would have to think that Belichick wants to prove that he can win without Brady.
