Music is the vibration to creation of what makes everything around us joyful and Rich & powerful. A band director, in Mississippi would awaken the whole town, with his band it was the sound, the beat and that agarthym that would bring people out of their homes to the streets and we would cheer and dance to the music, it's one of the things I love to keep alive.

I agree with Musiq , when I was in school you had options from learning to play instruments, chorus and dance. Music and dance was a prominent force during those years and majority of us participated in something. My granddaughter plays in the band can read music and plays drums. I would like to get involved because band, art, music and dance gave kids options. My eldest brother went to school with Patrice Rushon and Gerald Albright.
