Well I don’t know much about farming but I love Farmall tractors especially the M and the Super M the first front end loader I drove was an M and I bought one but it’s seized so one day I will make beautiful music just like your video!! Keep that old iron running 😀🇨🇦

A real feel good video. Back in the late 60s when I started farming on my own, I had a MD and Massey 44. We pulled a 490 planter for corn and drilled the rest. Later on I got a pair of 494 planters. set one for 36 inch corn and the other for 28 inch rows for beans. Still have the tractors. Those old planters gave less trouble than the 12 row Deere that I use now.

Admittedly, Bill has had 50 plus years to perfect planting with this JD 1250 planter, but I'm amazed he can get it to work at this kind of ground speed. It is still basically gravity fed, and gravity doesn't increase with ground speed. Is all of Bill's farming done with this 1950's equipment, or is this just his hobby part of the farm and he has more modern equipment he runs also?
