Funny thing is in the Philippines, it's almost the same. A bodega in the PH is a warehouse where products of a certain company are stored to be delivered later at stores. But we have what we call a bodega sale where those products, coz they're either near expired (in the case of manufactured food) or need to be sold because companies have to clear them for new products to be sold next. And we get those products at such a low price 😅
