Bill can dissect any controversial/divisive topic with pin-point, laser precision, address every hypocrisy attached to it, and still manages to make it funny. The fact that he delivers it with a forehead vein’s worth of anger makes it even more hilarious 🤣☺️

@@OpinionatedPeach ya honestly was let down. It was still enjoyable for me but one of my least favorite specials from him. I think it was the familiarity of his jokes. He had so many of the same premises I’ve heard before from previous specials or when he’s been on talk shows. So it didn’t feel new. I will say the 2 times I’ve seen burr live (2016 and 2019) have been the most I have ever laughed. I’m sure his latest tour was great, but what’s eventually shortened/cut out/made into the special ends up not being as good as a tour. That’s at least been my experience with it. The Sean Connery thing is out of context, he wasn't talking about routine violence. He was specifically saying that a slap was an option, but a last option in the case that the conversation was over and rather than being able to walk away the woman was basically following the guy and not going to let it rest. Many women do not know how to have a civil argument simply because they have been fully insulated from [physical] repercussions their whole lives. Men tend to know how to judge when they are taking things too far because they have been in fights at some point as boys.
