It's just in the South, but Jack's Hamburgers has the best fries ever. They're thick crinkle cut fries with that yellow popcorn salt on them. I like to put ketchup on each one as I eat them. Their burgers are great as well

In N Out french fries are way better than McDonald's. McD's fries have never been the same since they stopped using lard. All of In N Out's food has some distinctive flavor not replicated anywhere else but it is so good.
