had a girlfriend like this a few years ago, she used to drink a bottle or two of wine daily and come in 4 am on the weekend after binging all night and projectile shit and puke at the same time and leave the mess for me to clean. if I didn't clean it, the toilet and walls would be stinking, the bath tub would be stinking, the bedsheets were stinking, there was dried puke on the bedside tables and drawers. I told her several times how it wasn't fair on me having to deal with her like this and ultimately she was destroying her physical and mental health and opening herself up to dangerous situations when she was out because she had no awareness, she was surprised a week or two after we split up when I went around to pick up the rest of my stuff how I seemed so happy and calm. I Said with a big smile, its because I literally don't have to deal with your shit anymore. she then had the cheek to ask me if she could keep one of my favourite guitars, Hell no!!!!!!

The only real relationship I've been in I ended partly because of this. She was in dire straits both financially and emotionally when we got together, so maybe in a way she was a bit justified to "overdo it" at times. But I have been drinking a bit too much earlier in my life as well. And I was noticing that she triggered exactly the things in my own behavior that I've been trying to suppress. There were other things as well, but we weren't good for each other and I was scared she'd drag me down in a hole I've been trying to avoid. Maybe I ended it for selfish reasons, but her passing out and getting totally wasted when we met my other friends was painful, and although I haven't had another girlfriend since then I firmly believe it was the right thing to do, probably for both of us.

To see if she's actually an alcoholic or not , he should give her a one drink limit when they go out ( and tell her it cannot have more than one shot of liquor in it ... in other words no Long Island Iced Teas .) If she can do that then he'll know the situation is not so bad . The problem is that because he's a drinker and he admits that sometimes he drinks a lot , it's going to possibly make it harder for her especially if she is an alcoholic .

My ex was like that kinda. She had bad past trauma - were young and i didnt help as much as i should have by drinking beer around her. She would drink alot of shots and get alot more drunk then i , alot faster. She held it better from experience - i probably made more silly drunken mistakes then she- and find myself falling asleep easier when im smokin and a few beers in, but that being said i always felt she was drinking her problems under the carpet while as i was just tryin to have a good time together. I knew it was truly a problem when she covered up how much she drank alone without me

General idea: Lead her to get help, then let her help herself. If she won't, you have to seriously think about breaking up. If she's a drunk, it's almost impossible that she'll treat you well and be a woman it's healthy and happy to be with. ---Get yourself to therapy or to Al Anon, a program of meetings for people involved with, or friends or family of alcoholics.

my other half has drinking issues, she cant have just one drink, drinks at every available opportunity, and drinks everything in the house or until she passes out. Im tired of all weekend every weekend me having this dumbed down version of my girlfriend who i cant have a normal conversation with.ive tried bringing it up and she gets so touchy about it it ends up in an argument. i came home from work to grab something from the house the other day and shed already started drinking at 12.30pm, and she looked embarassed hat id caught her in the act as she wasnt expecting me back, yesterday i got home 4 hours late, she was already drunk wen i got home, i told her i knew she was drinking she said she only had one beer but later i found out she had already had a bottle of wine. i dont know how to help or what to do, she doesnt get physical withdrawl and is completely functional but shes completely psychologically addicted to drink, if i asked her to go for a week without having a drink i dont think she could and she would drink everyday if she could.

Similar situation... Took me literally moving out for her to commit to AA. She's had relapses, and it's rough living separately, but she's been making progress and things are getting better. Nobody goes to get help on their own; they need to hit rock bottom. It takes the consequences of their addiction hitting home for them to finally become willing to seek help.

Vili , without using any apps you can get rid of most ads right now by doing this simple thing : Scroll forward quickly using your finger to push it to the very end of the video until they circular Arrow comes on and then when the video starts over again there's no ads ( sometimes there might be one in the beginning that slips and very quickly before the video even starts ) Sometimes this will not work if you're looking at a vid that is in a video queue with a bunch of other vids ... anyway give it a shot it takes about 2 seconds . If you go to watch that video again later you have to clear it again ... so just put your finger on the red line and push it forward to the very end
