Burr standing up for Carlin I love it. Sometimes it warms my heart to see what O & A are doing these days.

Yeah. It’s funny to hear Ant trash Carlin. Ant performs horrific standup in empty minor league stadiums now and he’s younger than Carlin was here.

This is another one of those episodes that make me think about ole Billy boy. One day he's gonna look at his kids like " I was apart of some shit, I've seen some things maaaan" hahahahaha

He took that kind of stuff a little better when it was Burr. He had way of making Opie feel included by the ribbing because he’d always relate it to himself right after or kind of give him a brotherly tone. Opie is definitely insufferable but sometimes I wonder what a little empathy for each other here and there would have done for ll the lifespan of the show.

@@JankyHank I think the lifespan wouldn’t change but bro it’s so easy to fall on the hate opie train and I go back and forth, but I always remember who the O was in O&A and it means something

Every time I feel bad for Opie, he makes another video trashing one of the comics from the show. The only reason he hasn't trashed Patrice is because he's afraid he will come back from the dead and smash him for being unfunny. It's as though he wants to fully dismantle any of the things people loved about the show. There's no excuse for that, especially when he is doing it from his million-dollar beach house paid for by O& A money.

Ant was right about Carlin's later specials just being about how quickly he could say a lot of words. But he was wrong about Carlin being irrelevant. Nobody was better at criticizing America than George Carlin. And who would you rather hear it from? A 25 year old that still lived with his parents or a cranky old man who had seen it all?

If you cut out Opie's corporate bs this show would be half as long. We get it the show is doing good, yup, new things, right on, you've got callers, we believe you, just let the show happen.
