I suggest the comedian (Leo) Gallagher... He was HUGE in the '80s... His shows are generally split in two parts... What he describes as the "Intelligent" part, in which rivals George Carlin style of comedy... The other part is his props part, formatted like an infomercial... His primary prop is his infamous "Sledge-0-Matic" which he is best known for... Many of his props were his own inventions... I recommend his early shows from the '80s up to the early '90s... Later years had him getting more "Controversial", in language and content... His act was much cleaner and inoffensive when he was on top... Definitely start with his early work, then decide if you want to move on his later material... He passed away a couple years ago...
