The WNBA is not an entertaining brand of basketball. There are videos here on KZbin comparing the Top 10 WNBA plays of the year, to the Top 10 plays of one NBA game. It's no comparison. Recently, a National Women's Soccer Team lost 5 - 2 to group of 15 year olds in the US Developmental program. That's why no one's watching. Now, the women of UFC and Pride! Oh, yeah. They can throw down. Men watch the hell out of that. Women's tennis I think can be more entertaining than the men. Even the LPGA is closer in quality to the PGA than the WNBA is to the NBA.

Yep. That Zhang vs Joanna fight was one of the best fights (m or f) in the UFC ever. In golf, the gap is a lot closer than it is in other sports because of the finesse to it. Anika Sorenstam, played one game on the PGA tour. Came in 70 something. But she did beat quite a few guys that made the tournament. It wasn’t like the Williams sisters both losing to a 203rd ranked guy. That was also drinking and awaiting surgery when he played them. Can’t remember his name though, but it’s an easy Google.

A few years ago the Australian national women’s soccer team, then ranked #5 in the world, played a game against an under-15 boys team. The women lost 7-0. There are many examples of big women’s soccer teams playing against young boys and losing badly. Women just can’t compete with men because of physiological differences between them. The same goes for any sport. Men and women are just on different levels. There’s nothing wrong with that. But there is a difference, and it isn’t small.

I have a 17 yr old daughter who plays basketball in high school, and the level of competition is about the same with the wnba. I've tried. It's just not good. Not entertaining. The men play an average of 125 games per year the women only played 36. And they do not play March madness basketball like the college players do pass the ball in take it down to court and complete the function, you score. If women players playing March madness basketball just 3 minutes of continual action in each of the four quarters they have no complaints. But when you take a ball down the court shoot and miss the goal entirely, or do a layup and still don't score over and over again I'm not watching! And the pace is really slow for 36 games. They're now they're switching to smaller arenas for the ladies. And you even said it the excitement or intensity just isn't there, that's what I mean by March madness basketball the college players in the playoffs they're flying down the court it's beautiful. And at 36 games a year nobody's going to pay you even a million dollars per player. It's the letters NBA that's gone to their heads when a triple A high school basketball team has beaten one of your professional teams, someone needs to shut up and stop challenging me and the basketball games. Even Serena Williams says if she played against a man she lose every set.

Both the US and Australian national women's teams where defeated soundly by U15 boy teams (6-0 and 6-1 respectively). In a recent tournament both the Wrexham Red Dragons and the national US Women's Soccer team competed. Not only did the women lose all of their matches in the tournament, they lost 12-0 against Wrexham...and in all honesty that's only the result because the men where going easy on the women and the match was over after 40 minutes. In a real 90 minute match and the men not holding back it would have been something like 50-0. But in the end that's actually all irrelevant. It is not about the quality or who is better. It is about selling tickets and creating revenue. Women cannot receiver the same payment because they don't create the same levels of revenue, simple as that. Here are the 2022 numbers: The NBA made more than 11 billion. The WNBA made 60 million.

The main problem with women's basketball is that the really good, phenomenal players in high (secondary) school and in university teams usually go on to either become coaches or physical therapists once school is all done with. Because of that, we are left with these woke hags who were the 9th best player on their 12 person team and are literally not good at anything make a career out of it just to spread this bs agenda. I truly believe that an 8th Grade (age 13-14) championship-calibre girl's team can take, let's say, a bottom-half ranked WNBA team, just because the girl's team are playing for the love of the sport and are better coached. I watch sports all the time. WNBA is played during baseball season after the nba season. I have other stuff to watch when WNBA is on. Plus, i get enough crap from my female for watching sports, if i start watching WNBA games my lady will throw a brick through the tv, deservedly so. Every woman who insists that men watch sports and thinking that them demanding that we watch will cause us to watch think men are like women. Women can very easily be bullied into doing stuff because they don’t like saying no. MEN are not like that. Until now, no one has provided me a reason why i should spend my hard earned time off watching WNBA games which athletically speaking are on par with mid level boys high school basketball. I do watch women’s soccer, it is a very different game than the men’s game and i enjoy it. WNBA tries to lay like the men, but they are slower, less athletic, and shorter. look, when it comes to professional sports, what people want to see (women included) is the highest level of athletic excellence on display. Unfortunately due to biology that’ll never be women’s sports. Not saying the women are not displaying athletic excellence, just not as high of a level as men’s sports thus making it less exciting to watch and not as in demand.

i guess all the know it all women fail to know how mens sports gets paid. by tv contracts from tv channels that advertisers pay...no company is going to pay billions to a tv channel for nobody to watch the commercials on that channel during womens basketball

They are good shooters, good ball movement, but it would be more fun if they had more jumping ability. I get more into it during their playoffs but the season should be longer. Sorry but women's basketball and football (as it's correctly called, not "soccer") is no match to men's sport. Not as sharp, not as fast, not as exiting. Sure, they play decently and they can be the "best among women", but it's not comparable to men's game in any way. Not football, not basketball. And it isn't related to "patriarchy" or whatever other such nonsense, it's simple biology. Also, the "they play decently" - sure, when it comes to women, but keep in mind that the "best female football team in the world" got demolished by 15-year old boy's team. Again, biology and nothing else. Other then that, no, I as a man am in no way obliged to watch women's sports. I personally have nothing against it, let them play and have fun and anyone who wants to watch them, should watch them. But I don't care about it and in no way must do it. Like Bill Burr said, I watch men's sport and that's enough for me. Many other men do it, literally most and that's why and how male athletes also get paid more - they bring in more, because more people watch them. Men support men's sport. Women do not support women's sport. In general women care quite a bit less about sport anyway, but the way they keep demanding bigger pay makes one ask "do they have any idea how world works? how salaries work? you get paid good money when you bring in good money. If you bring in nothing, then there's nothing to pay for either". The "male subsidized part Bill Burr mentioned? WNBA and US Women's Soccer League literally lose 10 million dollars per year and guess where that money comes from, so that these women are still being paid any money at all, despite not bringing in money? From men's leagues. Literally women's leagues have men's leagues on alimony. Note also that when it comes to numbers, women in US football team are actually paid more, by percentage. Men are paid about 7% of the income of the league. Women are paid 23% of income, so they are paid three times more money percent wise. Women are paid simply for being in league, even when they don't play. Men are paid only if they play, if they are not on the field, no money comes in. Women have several benefits and additional bonuses, men have none. Literally those women are paid for simply participation and for being there, no matter if they play and if they bring in any money. If anything, they're overpaid considering that they bring in none of the money. Men's leagues should drop any and all women's leagues and stop bleeding money into those. Let women's leagues manage themselves, earn own money and then pay as much as they want to themselves. And of course the "feminists". Absolutely useless group of people, who sure scream a lot. Ironically they sure talk much about "supporting women's sport", but they don't support it in reality at all. Literally they go to no games, buy no season passes, no memorabilia, no souvenirs. All they want is to get undeserved money from men, simply for making loud noise and not producing any results. Not too long ago, was it either US Women's football team or WNBA team, which had one of their "victory marches" in some city, Chicago or where was it. No-one showed up. Understandable from men's point of view, "not the athletes we watch", though if someone would have wanted, go ahead. And that's not even the issue or point - there weren't any women either. And most definitely not a single feminist was present. Which shows yet again, they sure do the talking but none of the walking. Comes down to simple basics - men's sport is for men, women's sport is for women. This isn't exclusive, no, any men or woman can watch and enjoy either sports, all the best with that, but in general it's like this. Men support men's sport, women do not. Men constantly spend money on men's sport and thus generate income, which allows athletes to be paid well, women do not do any of this. Like the skit said, women rather watch these crap of reality shows, watch the drama, watch women tear down other women. This is what they support and enjoy doing and money goes there. Not to women's sport, not into their salaries, but to the pointless reality show women, so that these can get yet another shot of Botox and more brand trinkets to show off.
