Bill Cipher is like if Discord from My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic actively tried to kill his victims instead of just messing with their heads. While I personally think that Discord is a more interesting and entertaining character, I do have to admit that Bill is a more intimidating villain. I don’t think Logan will ever do a villain from mlp, but I have an idea for a potential villain to cover. My recommendation is Queen Chrysalis. She is the ruler (at least, at first) of a species of creatures known as Changelings. Basically, they’re flying magical bug horses that have the power to shapeshift into anything they want. They mostly use this power to kidnap ponies and take their place. See, changelings feed off of love. When they’re disguised as a creature, they become more powerful by draining the love of those who cared for whoever/whatever they’re disguised as. As their queen, Chrysalis is naturally both more powerful and better at disguising herself than any other member of her kind. How does she choose to use her power and army of shapeshifters? Why, by kidnapping one of Equestria’s immortal demigod Princess rulers and posing as her in order to highjack her royal wedding an launch a massive surprise attack against the Equestrian capital city Canterlot. After getting defeated by what can generously be labeled as magical bullshit, she waits in the shadows and continues to strengthen her forces until she has the right opportunity to launch a second attack. This time, however, she doesn’t send her army to engage in open warfare. Instead, she coordinates a massive stealth operation in which she successfully kidnaps every single pony of power and or importance in the entire kingdom of Equestria and replaces them with a disguised changeling drone, IN ONE NIGHT! You know what her plan was? She was going to rule Equestria from the shadows by playing puppet master with all of her disguised drones. All the while, every ounce of love that all of the citizens of Equestria felt towards their heros and rulers would be siphoned off and used to feed and strengthen her kingdom for generations. She would have had total control over all of Equestria without any pony even knowing and she would have been giving her own subjects and endless supply of food and power. Not to mention the fact that she already removed all of the ponies that had a legitimate shot at stopping her, and her thrown is able to completely nullify any and all non-changeling forms of magic within her kingdom. It’s honestly just because of dumb luck and split-second rebellion by her own subjects that she lost her second attack. After that, she went rouge and started operating as a mostly independent villain against Equestria. However, she was no less threatening and destructive to the ponies even after losing her army. I could go on about what she’s accomplished, but I think you get the point. She’s cunning, she’s resourceful, she’s an extremely good strategist, she’s a powerful magic user, she can shapeshift into whatever she wants, she knows exactly how to manipulate and control others into doing whatever she wants, and she only gets MORE powerful the more love she’s able to steal. She’s like if a Dito, a witch, a succubus, and a Xenomorph all got fused into one being. Mlp has a lot of interesting and creative villains, but none of them have posed as big of a threat to the ponies of Equestria as often or as successfully as Queen Chrysalis (hell, there’s an official/canonical branching timeline in the show where Chrysalis has already won and is basically unstoppable). I don’t think Logan will ever do an mlp villain, but if he ever does then it deserves to be Chrysalis.

I wonder if Logan knows about some of the theorized and debatbly official tragedy surrounding Bill. He described his motives as "Kicks" (a plausible answer) but The Axolotl seems to argue it might be more loneliness than anything possibly even of the cosmic kind. Food for thought Mr. Minion. Will say though "loneliness" doesn't exactly just mean wanting friends. It can be isolation from anything and everything the world can deem "normal". In a sense it would make perfect sense for Bill's "weirdness" to be the source and even method of both breaking and ensuing that. He says he wants to liberate people but clearly he only cares about himself and yet everytime things don't go his way he doesn't just get angry he gets desperate. Borderline begging to get what he wants just so he can have fun. And yet time and time again it isn't enough and he's still looking for more. Killing his family and destroying any semblance of a person in his life in the process not because of boredom but hate. What came next was the deals and the Weirdmageddon, that was boredom and yet still he gets angry cause he's trapped by barriers upon barriers and more "friendly" and "caring" reminders of his own absence of a place to call his as he scrounges and digs away at reality itself to find a way to escape the flat simple minded folk that remind him over and over what he never feels like and never has. A home. So why not make his own? Or maybe I'm just being as insane as him in trying to find a method to the madness. Either way. Food for thought. Avoid that orifice rearranging

Absolutely loved this video!! Your announcement of Unmasked and the reveal of Bill Cipher as the second episode easily allowed me to remove any barriers stopping me from watching Gravity Falls. Five months later, I can definitively tell you that Unmasked is one of the best ideas in KZbin history, Gravity Falls is now one of my top five favorite shows of all time, and Bill Cipher is one of the best villains in Disney history! I gave a long ass review in the previous Unmasked, so here’s another. I really like the dynamic between you and Bill. You two are so funny when you banter, it’s honestly pretty unique. God, you’re both snarky asshats, but I love it so much. The points of the video were intimidating. Having a haunting menace who has such an intellectual stronghold of the entire series, up to his defeat, is terrifying enough. But a chessmaster who basically does everything that he can, when he can, is also frightening. I need to watch the series, but damn if this isn’t a good way to kickstart the parnaormal abstractions awaiting viewers of old and new. It’s appreciated to see the love and care such a show can generate, and even more so with how it has become respectful to everyone in it. Even if Bill is the most feared, you hafta admit he’s more than just powerful. He’s smart. *Very* smart. And I like that. Also his weaknesses re actually cool. A soft counter, a hard counter, and the ultimate death sentence that is a suicide move in a sense… oh geez. That’s grim as shit, and I love it when an ending has to make do with one for all.
