2 years ago I lost my sister. We visited Ibethel on our way up to my brothers. I was in the middle of grieve. The associate pastor saw me with my head down on the chair in front of me. He was preaching stopped, the band kept playing and walked across chairs and asked me how he could serve me. I asked me if he could cry with me. I never felt so safe. I felt the presence of God in that moment. I left feeling lighter that day. God bless IBethal for really understanding the power of God.

I was healed during the worship service! I wasn't even there for that. I heard in my spirit "take your shoes off, you are on holy ground," so I took my sandals off, and kept worshiping. Then, suddenly, my foot just popped and was healed. It has remained healed to this day :) I love this church and every time I am in Redding I make sure to go.

I recently had the privilege of reading a few of the Pastor Johnson’s books. I was in search of a great awakening and his books have added another giant leap to my already exploding faith! Sadly, I came across a handful of antagonists against Pastor Johnson’s ministry and I never realized that there is a such thing as “Spiritual jealousy” among many Christians who are all brothers and sisters in Christ! I express much sympathy and sadness to those unbelieving hearts (because they never allowed the God’s Word to come alive!). I pray that someday, they too will see the Truth! This man and people that are moving in the save spirit of revival have changed my life. This is so incredibly powerful. Actually, when I visited Bethel Redding's healing rooms, the presence of God was heavy, I could feel Heaven opened there. I was prayed for and it was like rubber bands around my chest breaking and I could breathe freely. Didn't even realize it was laborious to breathe. I have a new respect for Bill Johnson. I am reading ‘When God Becomes Real’ by his son Brian Johnson. I didn’t know who Brian Johnson was or that Bill Johnson is his dad. I was recommended the book. You know a man by how he treats his family. Brian talks a lot about his early years with fear and how his dad stood with him through it. I was deeply touched by what a great father he is and who he is behind closed doors. He stood with his son night after night when fear would attack and taught his son through it also. The pages of this book reveal just what a great father he is and that he is a genuine man of God. I never needed to read this book to know that he is a good man but it simply confirmed to me that he is the real deal.

The book of 1st John was written to reveal the true characteristics of a believer and regardless of manifestations or doctrine let us examine ourselves and these teachings in the light of scripture.

If you have ever been in a place so broken and in need and cried out for the God for love and He filled you completely with His loving presence and with perfect peace,? then if so, you can't deny what Bill is teaching. The first commandment above all is to love God with all our heart mind and soul, and only then can we love our newborn as ourself. we can't love jim like tht do unless we are with Him in His presence, listening to His voice. and if we do the result of that , the Bible says everything else will fall under these two commandments. Read Galatians. When we are born of the spirit we are no longer subject to the law. Yes we still obey, and recieve God's rewards for obeying, but we are not saved because we obey the law, we are saved because we believe the gospel that Jesus suffered for our sins. We are saved by faith if we confess our sins. But it's not complete just to confess our sins and prayer a prayer to relieve Jesus. if we don't have love, we have nothing. and we can't love without seeking His presence. GOD bless . I pray the Holy Spirit would reveal Himself to all have any doubt fear or do not know the power in His loving presence.

I am believing only becuz i dont want to go to hell. but I actually don't really long for Heaven either. Bill Johnson is a gnostic. He believes Jesus was born again from resurrection. That means he believes Jesus was not fully man and fully God before His death. So Bill teaches another gospel which isn't the gospel at all. We are not called to do the supernatural but make disciples!

+TheDvsnative Where is your proof. I know Bill and I know that he does believe that Jesus was both fully man and fully God. I've heard him say so many times. That makes you seem like you just made something up to accuse Bill of. According to the bible Satan is not only the accuser of the brethren it also attributes Satan as being motivated by jealousy of God. Therefore it is likely when someone is accusing a brother (especially without proof) that they are both motivated by jealousy and therefore partnered with Satan in acting out that jealousy. Therefore if you have proof that Bill believes otherwise please produce it. Simply stating that Bill believes something contrary to what I know he believes carries zero weight without proof of your accusation.

Just look inside and seek the truth, ask God what fault you should have with him. His spirit is pure. He has a higher level of anointing than most christians. So of course a newer Cristian may not get what he is saying until they seek the Holy Spirit for hours daily like he has. That's why he is teacher. I am not lucky enough to have a pastor with this high love for God and high anointing in Knoxville TN. Bill I pray that a church in Knoxville calls you and you come to our town soon. we need healing . we need you to teach pastors here. There are men of God but so many who are more about works than taking the time to pray for people.

@10:07-13 Bill says "it is literally that the Lord would find a resting place." @10:20-34 - "The Lord will give us the measure of His presence that we are willing to jelously guard. Whatever I am willing to pay a price for, what measure of His presence am I willing to take a bullet for. That is the measure I will live in and impart to my community." God's will is to FREELY give us ALL things, nothing left out, not just portions that we can guard, protect, or jelously value. Romans 8:32 - "He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?" We are made fully complete in Christ, not lacking anything, but containing everything the Godhead possesses. Colossians 2:9-10 - "9 For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; 10 and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power." It is God not you who develops the gift unto completion, not your ability to guard or protect. Philipians 1:6 - "And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you." His will is that we are thoroughly equipped for every good work, not just what we can guard or desire as valuable. 2 Timothy 3:17 - "So that the man of God may be complete and proficient, well fitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work." Hebrews 13:21 - "make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen." God's will is that we lack nothing, it is not based on our deisre or ability to gaurd, protect, or value. James 1:4 - "But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing." @18:05 - "See the Holy Spirit is in all of us, but He doesn't rest upon all of us. So I want to learn how to host the presence so that He rests upon. It says that Jesus says the Holy Spirit came upon Him in the form of a dove and remained." @18:22 - "So how do you walk around a room, if you have a dove on your shoulder and you don't want Him to leave?" @10:35-48 - "What I believe God is doing is that there are geographical locations that will be centers, literally of the presence of the Lord" The terminology and concept of God needing to find a people on whom He can rest or geographical locations His presence can be found is OT mind set. Using this terminology as well as speaking about hosting the presence/Spirit of God leads people to believe that the presence of God and the Holy Spirit are from without, somewhere out there coming to visit us, but only if we do something right and show Him we are worthy to receive Him. If we are saved then we are one with Him(John 17:11,21,22), and the Holy Spirit permantely abides in us( 1 John 2:20,27). The Holy Spirit is poured out into us through Jesus Christ, Titus 3:6 - "He generously poured out the Spirit upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior." It is not our worship or ability to carry/host that Spirit well that causes God to do something with His Spirit through us or on our behalf. The pouring practially transacts when we receive the baptizm in the Spirit which requires faith and belief in Jesus Christ for the born again salvation experience. Acts 2:17-18 - God is pouring out OF His Spirit upon all. It is not a pouring out of the Spirit, it is a pouring out FROM the Spirit that already resides in you if you are saved. Through salvation, you receive the spirit. John 20:22 is the disciples salvation where they received the permantly indwelling Spirit. Then they were baptised in Acts and the result of the baptism was the Spirit poured out of them power for the purpose of miracles, preaching, teaching, prophesy, healing, words of knolwedge, reconcilition to be on earth as it is in heaven. The Spirit is not being poured out of heaven from God to a person(s) because they desire it, commit to host Him, or carry Him, and then do things that show God they can do it well. God is pouring out power from within believers who come into agreement with that fact, have faith in Christ, and desire the Spirit's power and activity to be present. The Spirit is not a reward for right behavior. He is a free GIFT that comes with Christ!

So please don't say or press on things you don't have clear idea about. If you are a yogi and have practiced yoga and know what kundalani is, the third eye, the 7 chakras and all of that and how it works and what harms it does and know for sure that Bethel people are indeed practicing in it then I dare you to come out with a public revealing of sorts. Moreover all this accusations are put forth on the internet and its baseless. All these accusations on Bethel I see on the internet are all the same, baseless and unproven. If y'all are so damn concerned about what goes wrong over there in Redding and are really burdened on the souls that may be led astray according to your discernment, why don't y'all pour your hearts to the Holy Ghost and ask Him to reveal the follies of Bethel that you think is taking place?? If you don't do this it means you're a fake accuser with baseless unproven gossips giving importance to your personal likes and spiritual preferences without a common ground understanding and acceptance of the ways the Holy Spirit works or you don't believe in the Holy Ghost to talk back to you and reveal things to you. You search and answer for yourself where you lack. If you are really the concerned and genuine believer tat you sound to be while u accuse Bethel of, then search for the Holy Spirit in all truth and hunger and as He is and how He wants to manifest Himself and the Spirit of the Most High God of Israel would reveal His Nature, His manifestation and His power to you. I was so hopeful when first exposed to Bethel. Especially the music and the initial Bill Johnson videos. However upon attending a Bethel originated church in Florida I was compelled to dig deeper. While attending services things became very strange. People started jerking their bodies and exhibiting erratic physical movements accompanied by the speaking of the pastor. While I didn't make a sweeping judgment about this I did, upon further research, discover this was a typical behavior for the Culture. I read how when if anyone should criticize things like their love tunnel (with jerking and some kind of "laughing") they were told that they shouldn't put God in a box? While their music is wonderful. The Johnsons are extremely blessed and talented. But my overall sense is that the Holy Spirit may have indeed started the movement, it has now become strange and IMHO repugnant to what would be prescribed by the original Apostles. Even tongues were warned about interfering with orderly worship. Believe me, I love free and spontaneous worship. I sometimes wonder where the idea where one guy prays while everyone else listens. I suspect it is a relatively modern invention. But convulsing your body and claiming it is the Spirit is another invention. I would love to be with this church if they would just take the realization of God's love and claim the gifts and joy of our King without the aberrant off-putting behavior. Remember the meat devoted to idols and how it's nothing to us but may hurt a brother with a different conscience toward it? We are not to eat. If all this goofy behavior is alienating Christians who are drawn to others who know the Lord truly and have not been fed or included in the halfway life of the mainstream church. If love is the ultimate command, stop rolling around in tunnels and laughing like worldly fools (not the foolish behavior God calls us to) and this community of believers can share God's love everywhere. Don't affect God's love, share it! The world is starving for it!

+James Bond Ever heard of the Quakers? I was saved in 1980 by a direct encounter with Jesus. Didn't even know what religion I was. All I knew is that Jesus revealed himself to me and spoke to me in a vision of him hanging on the cross and Jesus spoke a scripture to me and said "no greater love hath any man than he would lay down his life for his friends". I immediately realized that He is the love I was searching for. I was so overcome with his love and presence I began to shake and quake so violently I thought I would die from it. After an hour or two it finally subsided. To me it was just a by product of His greatness inside of me. As His power flowed through me it made me shake but there was nothing weird about it. For years I didn't tell anyone because I'd never heard of it and I thought people would think it was weird. But when the presence of God is really strong his power will do that to a human body as it flows through them. God's power is tangible. Scripture supports that over and over. Also if you study the great revivals of history, especially the church records where the revival happened, you'll find that this phenomena was common where revival was happening. It isn't something that these people dreamed up. It's common to revival cultures throughout history. You sound like someone who, like the man mentioned in proverbs, who answers a matter before he has heard it. You appear to be judging people by outer appearances (shaking and such) instead of judging the fruit. Also there are lots of churches who attempt to be like Bethel but they don't have the culture that supports hosting God's presence and some of them just act out what they've seen but to onlookers it seems contrived (and may well be). Just because people copy Bethel it does not mean they have embraced the culture of hosting God's presence. Don't use the behavior of people in other churches who claim affiliation with Bethel to judge Bethel by. I travel a lot and have visited churches who claim to be Bethel affiliated. Often Bethel is not aware of them and they don't belong to Global Legacy (Bethel's licensing organization) but they still make the claim because they believe it gives them legitimacy. I don't denounce such churches because I don't know the whole story. Only God does. But I do know that the experiences at many churches that claim Bethel affiliation are nothing like Bethel when it comes to hosting God's presence.
