Interesting that he's choosing to do this song in the key of G, versus the typical capo at 2nd fret. No Mandolin, no fiddle player, most likely why. Same notes basically. I am looking for live video of Bill's playing, I have his book and there are lots of recordings but not much live stuff out there. Keep looking I guess...

He's actually surpassed JD crow.. JD was on the greatest Scruggs style banjo players.. But bill could do everything JD could do and Earl and then a whole bunch of other stuff with the melodic style that he started.. You really don't know who you're talking about do you? That's the problem is nobody really understands the mark that some players have made on a whole generation.. Keith has made his mark big time.. You just don't realize it
