HEY BILL! Ways to combat climate change the low tech (doable) way: Get rid of all the dark soar cells and replace them with the transparent (10% efficient) panels. Half the efficiency but you can have them in more places, and sunlight is free so it doesn't really matter how inefficient they are. And for the roofs use reflective stuff under to get a double dose to the panels and (mainly) to reflect the sunlight back into space. This has to be done, replacing every solar cell on the planet cos the dark ones are defeating the purpose (and could even be helping global warming). All roads, airfields etc. should be painted (or made) light color to help reflect sunlight. A town in the USA did that and it lowered the temp of the town (on KZbin). Also every roof part also has to have reflective paint (not just under the transparent solar cells). Scrape all that plastic off the sea, melt it down and make little plastic white balls out of it and release them over the ocean if need be. Maybe don't cover the whole ocean. lol Make heaps of desalinators and water the land until it starts raining again. Use the salt to sell it to the great American (and Australian) diet. Grow heaps of trees, using the desalinated water. Desparately work on FUSION, and leave MARS alone so we can. If we do what I said (and sort out climate change) then we can worry about Mars. Make 60 ft diameter pill shaped floats (much like a toilet float) with the arm. There is a smaller version of it on KZbin. The best wave power device, least maintenance and toughest on KZbin. And is easily decommissioned in the roughest weather. But 60 ft diam ones would be better and half full of water. That is so you can have a downstroke action that is as powerful as the upstroke (floating on the waves). Many of them should provide a lot of power and with direct drive generators (like with some wind turbines) less maintenance and better efficiency. They would all need a pier each so whack a large wind turbine on top of each. Wind turbines are noisy so unattractive for houses, but the spinning drum turbines are basically silent and though less efficient they can be scaled up a bit more and still look ok. Just have them tall and skinny. One on each house should be mandatory. If what I said was made MANDATORY (the only real way to make it happen) we could reverse climate change in learly an instant (cos that's what's required).

With the first experiment physics is involved. Expansion due to heat. The second experiment involves chemistry, the acidification of the ocean due to higher carbon dioxide levels in the air (that is in contact with the ocean).

@@danielkreipke3987 CO2 doesn't control the temperature of Earth, the planet isn't historically hot, it's historically cold unless history only goes back 800 years, atmospheric CO2 is historically low, not historically high, in fact at 280 PPM it was dangerously low because at 150 PPM ALL LIFE ON EARTH DIES. So it was a good thing we put some of what was already in the atmosphere back in. Check my facts here. First off the Jurassic and other warmer periods show the opposite of a dust bowl, so saying that we're going to be a dust bowl is just, well...hyperbole. This experiment shows that water expands, what it doesn't show is the real amount it expands - which is next to nothing. Go do the experiment yourself using an open container. You could mark your pool in the early morning if you have one or fill a double boiler and mark the inner pot. (Don't put Pyrex directly on the heat source as it can shatter). Now even if you boil the water you can barely perceive a difference - and that's by BOILING it. Even if you were to raise global temps by 4 or 5 degrees (ain't going to happen) there would be no perceptible rise in sea level rise because of temperature increase. This is junk science that appeals to emotion. He doesn't give the initial temperature of the water, could have been ice water, he doesn't give the temperature of the water after his final reading and he sensationalizes and exaggerates the results by forcing the water through a restriction and claiming it's going to be coming into peoples houses and crap. Sad.

@@JohnnyForehead Heat waves of 50 degrees is junk science is it? I can envisage in 30 years there will be heat waves nudging 60 degrees. That will be deadly. I think the scientists know more about it than me, so why should I question them (97% of the scientists)? Give me one reason why I should. I would if I knew as much about it as they did, but I never did a meteorology course like they did. And why should I listen to non peer reviewed stuff made by crackpots? Maybe it will rain in some parts but I really think Australia will suffer huge droughts going by how the trend is going. And India is in trouble too.

Also tide guages have been recording sea level rise since the turn of the century and the rise is completely linear. If there was a spike in sea level rise due to warming then there should be a corresponding spike in the data. There isn't.

We have a large concensus that points to him being a very black and white thinker, unable to escape his religious dogma. His high level of guilt is causing an occlusion of his ability to adjust stereotypes and think in shades.
