Thank God for Bill Russell. What a shame that he and fellow classmates were treated so badly. But he was and is brilliant. That's why I call him "the Professor". And what a wonderful speech he gave when he went back, still as a college player, and told the kids they didn't have to listen to the naysayers. Well done, Professor Russell, well done!

Bill Russell was told he would flunk out of USF? This is Bill Russell. I'd trust his brain for anything. This isn't JR Smith

I went to USF for 1.5 years then transferred to U.C. Berkeley and graduated there. Russell was right. USF was a first rate college. I could not get an A in Chemistry 1A from USF but I got an A in Chemistry 1B from U.C. Berkeley!
