I think its cool how a perfect condition truck is just cruising along the lonely wasteland like it was still 2003, not needing any major maintenance and still going strong. Many people today wouldn't take care of their car for a few years WITH the means of fixing it, letalone 20 with nothing other than what you have in your garage/town.

I still daily my 98 zr2 single cab. They're easy to keep running, also parts are plentiful and affordable.

There is someone out there with an S10 Crew Cab going 2-3MPH over the speed limit to have it painted Blue & White. And to that person, God Speed! And good luck sourcing that replacement transmission every few years 🙏.

I thought it was a bigger V8 k1500 or Silverado. Really surprised when I saw the wheels and tail light revealing the S10. I wonder why they used this midsize instead of full size. Your video was all I can find. Thanks for talking about it!

Btw my old 2000 S10 Zr2 SLS had every option. A CD player and tape player extension was included stock.

Amazing video! Here in Brazil the s10 is the only option from GM, my uncle had one in 2001 and I loved it.

Never been too interested in cars and I don't know much either, but your soothing narration with captivating visual editing has me paying full attention like David Attenborough on Planet Earth. It's certainly amazing to get your perspective on the aspect of cars which not many might consider in TLOU or other medias. Please keep up the awesome work!

I loved the juxtaposition of a nicely cared for vehicle driving around the post-apocalypse. Could really tell it was well-loved, and it made its death even more impactful. Did its job to the very end, and did it well. 🫡

Small correction on your part about the tape player and how bill would’ve had to upgrade it because I actually own a 2002 Chevy S-10 that is same trim, model and engine as bills and it came stock with a tape deck
