Yes - she’s very cute right now. That baby donkey fluff makes them look much bigger than they really are, but it also helps protect from insect bites and regulate their body temperature. ❤️🫏

LOL There’s no telling what Bill is thinking sometimes. I was trying to get their boots to match their halters but they didn’t have the olive green for Bill. If what I’ve read is true, Bill sees Queenie’s and Williow’s as shades of gray anyway. With that being said, I would tie-dye them or paint them any color he wants if he’d just put them on! 😂 ❤️🫏

Does the Donkey family roll? Do they play with each other or with toys Do you play with them?

They do roll to take dust baths. They have a couple spots that they all like to use. They play with each other and they play with toys. They like to carry things around in their mouth or hold something in their mouth and swing it around. When they play with each other, sometimes they snuggle, but usually it’s fairly rough, which is normal for them. I interact with them, grooming them, talk to them, and teach them things, but I don’t play with them too much because they do get rough and if they see me as a playmate, they may catch me off guard someday and I could get hurt. ❤️🫏

@@scourgedarkpaw9949 He never actually wants to put them on. We just keep trying while giving him lots of pets and attention. I try to get him to watch me put them on the others so he knows they won’t hurt him. 🤷🏻‍♀️ ✌🏼❤️🫏

Donkeys don’t typically like new or different things - at least not at first. It’s part of their self preservation instincts. This instinct is very exaggerated in Bill and so even though he trusts me, new things put him in a heightened state of awareness and are difficult to accept. It would be most like a panic attack or severe anxiety in a person. ❤️🫏

You: That's what they're for. Don't you trust me? Bill: Maybe, but i dont trust the fly boots. You: they're touching you, and nothing happened Bill looks away stiĺl unsure.
