I think he comes across as sincere and thoughtful...having been a agent he is fully aware of the desires and the challenges the players face. He's not just a numbers guy, like so many GMs are....he actually cares about the players and the staff.

I'm all in on the Panthers. Bill Zito is a boss anyone would like to work for.

Super intelligent people often come off as "weird" or "eccentric" to everyone else - the man is a yale graduate, and an incredible GM. If the Cats can win a Cup (or two), he will be talked about like a Pat Riley in the S.FL sports landscape.... one of the all-time great GM's / Presidents. *PS: Hey Frank, i didnt see that was you commenting on Zito's weirdness 😂

@@esotericveritas Yes, in sports in general (which is full of simplistic meatheads) you come across as weird unless you say "uh" and "um" and "you know" and "at the end of the day" and "pucks in deep" in every other sentence.

My son is high functioning on the autism scale and he comes across in the same way. I'm not saying or labeling anyone, but it does make my ears perk up and take notice. I'm a Hawls fan. So, I don't really have a dog in the fight but I think the Panthers are the best team oriented group. Give me Edmonton vs Florida in the final.
