I was going to say that it seemed most of the people in food establishments spoke good English until Chinatown when Lisa said gentleman did not have a clue what she was saying so she pointed and it worked out okay. Thanks for sharing your adventures.

Prosciutto is on another level. Salty but buttery. 😋 Yep. The tomato sauces in Italy are non acidic and has a natural sweetness to them. 🍕🍝😋 Chinese food in Italy is more mainland region....Xi'an burger aka rou jia mo and zongzi.....best guy to ask Mikey Chen. 😉

This is probably going to upset people but I heard you should skip the pizza and just go for the pasta in Italy. I mean I would try the pizza for sure but I heard the pasta is on another level. I would definitely shoot for the Cacio Pepe and the carbonara.

In Florence, we got a delivery pizza. The inside of the box looked like it was spray painted with chrome paint. The pizza looked like it had sliced up hotdogs on it. 😂

Absolutely loving this series it's so much fun. This other young man I watched it travels went to Italy and I was so surprised about all of the graffiti. It was nice to see most of the places you went to wear a lot nicer. I just thought it was really strange there was that much graffiti where he was kind of depressing it was everywhere cuz he was in more of the shadier places you guys went to a lot of nice places which was wonderful to see😊

Overall, we thought it was affordable. Like most cities (like Las Vegas), you can get great food on the cheap or spend $$$$ on fine dining.

Bill & Lisa chose authentic gelato, the places that sell gelato displayed in the large mounds for all to see and drool over are getting duped, if "gelato" is uncovered that means it has a lot of preservatives and emulsifiers.

I love Milan, and actually all of Italy. Especially the weird fountains with mythical creatures. Love them. Funny story, the windows are always very, very clean and clear and they are much taller than those in North America. I literallly slammed into one thinking it was the entrance to a small hotel. My head! My ego! And the laughs after. I loved your pizza and pasta. I was absolutely drooling.. But I never knew about Chinatown. Wow!!!!

I've been to 44 countries (and all 50 states). Anywhere I go in the world, I'll eventually go to their Chinatown and stuff my face until I get my pure satisfaction Asian food coma fix, and I'm all good without rice/noodles for another week.

@@billandlisa It was actually Seattle by Seahawks/Pioneer Square. It was the last meal I had with my aunt before she passed away in an accident. I remember watching her walk to another terminal at SEATAC had I felt this odd feeling that I never experienced before. Like a restless confused peacefulness.
