Hi Bill and Lisa, I love the Hawaii series, the foods look super fresh and delicious ! I always say that my dream is to go to Hawaii and one day I will make that happen. That chocolate dipped ice ream brought back childhood memories for me, I used to have that with vanilla Ice cream at the ice cream trucks on beaches. Yum

Aloha! My last trip to Oahu was over 40 years ago when I was a teen. You could take a bus ride around the island for cheap!! My hubby's 1st flight over the Pacific was 2016 for our unforgettable week in Maui, so he got to see beautiful Lahaina. We would love to visit Oahu, but cannot at this time. Your videos are the next best thing as, so thank you!

Great video folks. Next April I'm going to spend 15 days on the Islands. 5 days each in Waikiki, Lahaina and Kona so your videos are a real source of information and ideas. Omg, that's the International Marketplace? I haven't been there for at least 25 years. The first time was in 1967. As you said, mostly little kiosks. Tiki keychains, I think a Crazy Shirts. I remember Hilo Hattie's. My parents bought matching shirt and dress for a luau. Great trip, thanks! I'd really like some of that shrimp and mac salad right now.

New subscriber here! Great travel videos! Another tip in Oahu, visit their Costco and pick up water, groceries, beverages, and Hawaiian snacks. Also, the retail sales tax is about 4.5% much lower than other states, hence the high end retail shops that cater to tourists.

Lol. I hate when it rains intermittently, and I have to drive. The squeaking of the wipers drives me nuts, and I have to change the speed of the wipers to prevent the squeaking. Lol. But glad it stopped raining long enough to get some good eats. Did you see the chocolate covered pineapples at the Dole Plantation shop? I guess that how they decided to do the Dipped Dole Whips.
