LAS VEGAS! | Korean Fusion Tacos | Handmade Pasta | Louisiana Eats

It's Vegas time again! Our first night, we went to check out New York New York, then to Park MGM. For appetizers, we tried Best Friends by Roy Choi, and Eataly for dinner. Ending the evening watching a cool band and strolling up the Vegas Strip.
On our second day, we started with breakfast at Eatwell at the Cromwell Hotel & Casino. We then walked over to Caesar's Palace to walk around a give Di Fara Pizza another shot (we didn't care for it the first time we tried them).
Next stop was at the North Premium Outlets to do a little shopping.
For lunch, we went to Lola's Louisiana Kitchen based on a recommendation from our Uber driver who was born and raised in LA! Great food here! From the gumbo to the shrimp po boy, everything was delicious.
Dinner time! We decided to try a new place on the Strip, Hexx at the Paris Hotel & Casino. We were sat on the outdoor patio and had a great view of the Bellagio fountains. The food here was amazing! We had the oven baked Branzino and the spaghetti Carbonara, both exceeded our expectations.
What a fun foodie weekend in Vegas! Every place we went was new, so it was so much fun exploring new eats!
PSA: We're booked on a 7-day Carnival cruise leaving Long Beach, CA to the Mexican Riviera on February 1, 2020. If anyone is booked or thinking about this cruise, we'd love to meet y'all and have some drinks!

I gather the food and lodging at downtown are a whole lot cheaper than at the strip? I've always stayed at the strip when I went in the past because I went to alots of big name shows. Nowaday if I go back now, just to relax, shop, good food and walk. Can u recommend a reasonable price hotel at downtown? Also there some popular Matcha shop there. I ❤macha. The shrimp poboy sandwich got me hungry😛

When we go to Downtown, we like staying at the D or California Hotel. The Golden Nugget is a very nice hotel, but a bit on the pricey side. Sorry, don't know any matcha places in Downtown, maybe try Yelping it?

Was the pasta meal table overlooking the strip? That meal looked fantastic. I always find things are more expensive at that end of the strip - NYNY to Mandalay Bay.... as opposed to the north / strat / Wynn end.

There are several restaurants inside Eataly. Some have views to the Strip, but not overlooking it. Prices vary in there.

We ate at Eataly in June, had the pasta vesuvius, pricey but it was soooo good. Never realized how much better a pasta meal tastes with freshly made pasta. Will try to go to Lola next time. Always love seeing new places to visit in Las Vegas but one thing I also enjoy viewing is a hotel room. Have never stayed at the Gold Coast. How was the room?

Agreed, fresh pasta is bomb! We apologize about not shooting the room, we thought we did a room tour of the Gold Coast prior, but we didn't. The hotel, casino, and room all have a older Downtown feel to it. Room was adequate, AC worked fine, and room was clean. Lisa got our room comp'd, that why we stayed at the GC.

@@billandlisa oh yeah we only walked around to the differnt hotels, went to the aquarium at the Mandalay Bay Hotel, Fremont street, and went to the Mob Museum which was amazing did the distillery tour as well. A lot of things to do in Vegas. Also met Buddy the Baker at his bakery at the venesion. Amazing trip.

Gold Coast is on my list of places where I want to stay at some point. Was it your vid I saw about the steak house in the Gold Coast? Hubby and I are really missing Vegas and hope to go maybe in February but this time I think we'll stay at the Silverton. The best of everything that way - it runs a shuttle to the strip for daytime and we can go back to a more quiet place for night :) Thanks for sharing your adventures!
