@@TitliestMcGee Madvillainy is great and very underrated. I also would make an argument for 36 Chambers, Only Built For Cuban Links, Liquid Swords, Black On Both Sides, The Infamous and Supreme Clientele. I understand why people love The Blueprint and Reasonable Doubt more, but my favorite Jay Z album is actually Vol. 2: In My Lifetime. I think it's the album which is responsible for how Hip Hop sounded from '98 to '10. And the beats there are the creative peak in Hip Hop imo. So id also make an argument for that.

Havent seen the whole list, but both should be on there. The Eminem Show is his best album imo. The MMLP being at 30 sounds about right. That's not a top 10-20 caliber album of all-time, although its still a classic. There's tiers to classics. MMLP isn't a top tier classic on the level of Illmatic, Life After Death, Doggystyle, Me Against The World, Only Built 4 Cuban Linx etc. That alvum's subject matter and shock value, alone, hasnt necessarily aged well.

As much as I love Be, there's no way that it gets on a top 10 greatest rap album list when albums like The Lowend Theory and It Takes A Nation of Millions didn't even make it. Straight Outta Compton didn't make the top 10. There's a lot of albums that have a strong case for top 10. Jeru's The Sun Rises In The East didn't even make the top 50 on that list. Stillmatic didn't make the top 50. It Was Written was 57 on that list.😂

As true as your points may be on Lauryn Hill's Miseducation album. What is still up for debate is the fact of what Lauryn Hill's true input on the Miseducation album is herself. How much of the songwriting did Lauryn Hill really have to do on the songs herself? Cuz according to many who were there or in the know in the music industry beg to differ with the accolades she claims of putting into the project. No matter how good the album is or what genre of music you wanna put it in isn't really important to me. What is, is if Lauryn Hill got away all these years by faking the funk & taking the majority of the song writing credits she doesn't deserve whatsoever, ya dig? 🤔 Just saying...
