After I heard their first album, I couldn't understand why they aren't hugely popular. But great inventive music too often lives in the shadows.

You really can't compare anyone to Fleetwood Mac, they are music legends ...What I can say is Delta Rae is a force in its self.... This is pure talent something that has been lacking in mainstream music for some time.

I grew in the seventies listening to Fleetwood Mac and in a sense they gave me a mental structuring to fall back on, a simple peaceful way of seeing things. I like seeing groups like Delta Rae, Imagine Dragons, The Civil Wars, Of Monsters an Men, Good Old War, Dead Combo....bringing the artistic qualities of music back. Great music, keep going with it....

Kudos to Delta Rae for covering a Fleetwood Mac song; specially The Chain. Fleetwood Mac's is so strong, covering their music must be intimidating. I saw them perform this live early in 2013 at the NorVa in Norfolk VA. It was an amazing cover.

When they cover it live, it's much more lively with the full band really getting into it. I just uploaded a clip of them covering this from their show in Durham, NC tonight. I didn't have enough memory to record the entire cover, but you can get the idea of how they do it live ;)

good song, good cover, but after listening to a few of their songs i think the brunette needs to be show cased a bit more.
@CalebHubbartt11 жыл бұрын
I agree 100%.....she's got the best voice.
@joshjahncke417810 жыл бұрын
That's funny, I think Elizabeth (the brunette) is easily the least impressive voice in the band. They can all sing well, but Brittany (the blond) is what makes this band special. She's got such a powerful, passionate voice I'm almost disappointed when somebody else in the band is singing lead.
@gabyanahisoto5 жыл бұрын
She’s got the kind of voice that sounds like it needs to be showcased more but when she actually sings a big solo it’s a little boring

I am inclined to agree with the guitar comment, but I think that Eric's voice is his best asset. Lindsey Buckingham's guitar talents are superb and I think it is admirable that Eric put a good effort forth knowing that he could not match that. I am sure. Buckingham could have used these four voices though, I am curious to know what he would think.
@murraychristenson12 жыл бұрын
I"ve seen the Dance...Buckingham is amazing. I just have a problem with people criticizing musicians who've never picked up an instument.

guitar part is super weak.. for me that's the best part of the original.. i'll give them a break though, nobody can touch buckingham on a six string.

have i gotten paid to play guitar?... yes, all this guy does is strum a guitar part that is meant to be played finger style which is why it is weak.. if you want to se how this song is meant to be played, watch it on fleetwood mac's the dance.

Nice cover thumbs up only one things bugs me and it's nothing against the drummer I'm sure he can play but it's these bloody stupid drum boxes appearing everywhere,when I learned to play drums at school back in 94 in my spare time in lessons I was banging on a desk like I had a full kit in front of me I never thought I'd see the day people would actually do a similar thing in shows/videos etc other than that I enjoyed it good job

@airbender02038 жыл бұрын
+Orfegas - The Three Days Grace cover is okay. I wouldn't say it's BETTER, but it's different a arrangement for sure. This sticks more to the original. Both are good.
@Cat-iw1mg12 жыл бұрын
It seems much weaker than the original, in many aspects. The emotions in the voices aren't strong enough, and I agree the guitar is really weak in this version which drags it down a bit for me.
@Tzunamii77712 жыл бұрын
Considering the garbage on your play-list, I can see where you draw that conclusion.
