What I absolutely love about this man. Not only does he have an amazing voice. He does not see color ( in a world only examining people by their color). He embraces everyone through his music. I grew up listening to Jellyroll when he was still mostly rap because my older cousins would Iisten to his music but, to come back to his music out of curiosity as an adult and find this is amazing and I love his music even more because throughout my teenage years I went through a lot of the things he’s went through in the drugs and getting arrested aspects of life so as a young adult hearing his healing process and his pain through his music helps me heal from all the past bullshit I put myself and everybody around me through.

The only thing I can say about jelly and I know he’s working on it already, bringing a nutritionist on tour with him and everything else but I sincerely hope he’s able to get his weight under control because I need another twenty or thirty years of his music and his interviews and him in general in my life. I hope that on his path to mental recovery and changing who he is as a person to be someone he is proud to be and someone he believes his kids and grandkids can be proud of somewhere along the way he gets to the step where it’s time to take care of his physical health. Nothing but love for jelly and can’t wait to see where his journey takes him!
