Make 100% sure that you know what you are doing and that it will work. In this match Mika jumped out of his chair his mind was not calm at all. He did not slow down his game. He made mistakes. Sure he got difficult positions to play out of. For difficult shots you need to be completely sure what you are doing, be mentally calm and decisive. And double check. Dane Lobe: Mika had 7 trips to the table, He made 2 mistakes. He missed a 2 ball, and he scratched on a break. He kicked 2 times, got a hit both times, and made 1 jump shot, got a hit and left Jason a shot. Mika also played one safe, then Jason played a safe back. Mike got a hit and left Jason a shot. At 7-0 he had done 2 kicks off of safes by Jason and missed the 2 ball, so he had only been to the table 3 times at 7-0. On one break by Jason he broke dry, and Mika ran the table. Other than that, the only other actual shot he had in the whole match was the 2 ball he missed. Basically he had 2 shots in the whole match, on one shot he missed, on the other he ran the table. Then he lost 9-1. If you dont count his scratch on the break he only made 1 mistake in the whole match, missing that 2 ball. When he actually got an shot, he only missed one time.

Alternating breaks is the only fair way for the pro players of today to compete in 9 ball. With the current equipment we now have the balls are breaking so well, It's not unrealistically to think these guys could run 9, or even 11, racks under this format, and without their opponent ever leaving their chair. @@mrjohngambles Yikes! I know he has been known to ‘bitch ‘ about things especially when he is losing. This just put it over the top for me. Especially the stick throw!

its not that he gets mad, its the fact that he has animosity for his opponent. Mika doesn't have a champion mentality.

@@FIVE-0-APOCALYPTO I agree. And I think that’s what I dislike the most.

3:35 why didn’t he combination 1 to 9? Seems like an easy shot no?
@drewgemus3 жыл бұрын
Any combination shot is a risk. At this skill level, it's best to just play it safe and run out.

Mika didnt do anything wrong?...missed 2 ball, poor safety and a poor jump...more than enough to lose a match at this level...is the commentator watching the same match?

To @UCvJPWoojgkOcP6RLGHhTInw, @UCXcqrsKGzm-uIqgP0vFKfdg& Krushard's below comments: You shouldn't be so down saying alternate 9-ball is so unfair. If Mika was playing Jayson in an alternate 9 ball match, with a score of 0 to 8, he NEVER could win. Although we'd keep watching, our watching would be in vain because way before the match was over we already would know he lost. But, in a winner break match which is the way 9 ball has been played forever, he still has a very good chance to win and he's very capable of it. All it would take is to run 7 or 8 racks in a row which, by the way, he's done before. There are a great many examples I could give you three. For instance and this is just one of the matches I’ve seen. Sanjin is playing Josh and is down 4 to 0 and the best he can do is get the score to 4 to 2 because he can't run any racks. It's like watching two pro-bowlers playing alternate frames if that were possible. Neither bowler can even get a double. How boring would that be to watch. A great excitement in watching bowling is seeing 5 or 7 strikes in a row. It's the same for pool to see a string of racks in a row. But with alternate 9-ball, if you get behind 0 to 8, it's almost impossible to catch up. But the main part I don't like is the focus is not on the skills a player has to play the game, but on the lack of skills the player has to make mistakes. This is the only way Sanjin can win. Josh must make mistakes which likely won't happen and neither would they happen with Jayson playing. This is real bad for the game. Finally, where do contributions come from? It isn't the players. In a large part, it's from the fans who want to see an exciting match and I, myself, remember exciting matches for a long time. I have never remembered one single alternate 9-ball match.

I can't stand this dude saying Jayson shore. God almighty.
