Oxytocin - "love hormone" This song is the singer in "Bad Guy"-Billie mode. The theme is that she is like a dominatrix. (do bad things to you...make you yell...see what you can take...collar...).You know (?) bondage, S&M, kinky stuff. If you still don't get the picture... Wow, that makes me think of a science fiction parallel universe. - where your world and the "other world" have never connected, even a little bit. I seldom type this, but: LOL. Oh, and her first few lyrics imply that God is female and would want to "get involved" with these goings-on. Again, : LOL.

bossa nova is a type of music in brazil, it's like samba with jazz :) she said she was inspired by a song called girl from ipanema! and she said the song it's a fantasy. and oxytocin she wanted to do a club song and it's basically about sex and "she" is god, she talks about god like god is a woman (she did the same in all the good girls go to hell). godwing is about young women in industry and how they use them when they're exploding on the internet and then when they find someone new they just don't care about you anymore!

Sorry, I'm a little late to this, but at the start of the video, what exactly are you accusing Billie of doing, that you feel needs an explanation? What are these mistakes? Do you think people have the right to know Billie's sexual preferences (i.e. is she not allowed to write "I love girls")? Do you think Billie is responsible for an inappropriate Tweet one of her friends (i don't think she is even dating this guy) posted 10 years ago? Do you honestly believe that Billie is racist? Is Billie not allowed to wear what she wants? What actually is the problem (aside from seemingly believing everything you read online? lol) What do you feel she should be addressing? Thank you!
@elliemariko79313 жыл бұрын
I feel like I got misinterpreted. I also didn't even know about some of things you mentioned in your comment. To clarify and answer your questions I don't care what her sexual preference is and I'm not aware of the tweet you're talking about. If you're insisting on me being more open about what I think was a mistake, then I'll say as an Asian American I was hurt by her mocking an asian language. I know she apologized for it but frankly it sucked seeing that video. So no, my thoughts didn't come from reading everything online, it came from a video of her. Do I think she's racist? No, probably not. And as long as she doesn't have any repeats of that behavior I don't have a problem continuing to support her music.

About your opening remarks, you're saying you don't approve of the "hate train" but you want Billie to address it? Is that right?
@elliemariko79313 жыл бұрын
I personally don't feel like she needs to address the hate. More of where I was trying go with that is I'm tired of seeing people so ready to attack female pop artists. People were calling the album a flop before listening to it, I can't tell you how many times I came across a headline commenting on her body and people talking negatively about her singing abilities. I don't think she's perfect, but I'm over seeing the hate over subjects that are just meant to be rude and hurtful.
@vp47443 жыл бұрын
@@elliemariko7931 Yeah the hate dramatically picked up ever since someone posted an asian slur, which she was mouthing from a song. But the hate started even before, from the night she swept the 2020 Grammys. She anticipated the hate that very night when cameras caught her saying "let it not be me" before her win was revealed. She addressed this hate in many ways including written apology, but her newest album responds to haters, stalkers, cheaters.

If you’re not going to be nice then don’t comment at all, can’t say something is boring and say ‘sorry’ like that makes it okay, difference between constructive criticism and just being rude. I enjoyed the video and lyrics are important, reading them can help to not miss anything.
