I think it's not the fact that they know who she is, it's more like that they are actually fans of her, or just take interest in what she does and stuff - it's not self-evident that people do that. It's especially surprising when it comes from people that you don't expect it from, because they are in a whole other music genre or aren't that close to you or so. She is just very down to earth, and I think that's a good thing.
