The difference between her breaking down in tears singing this song in June vs now smiling with her brother and smiling through the end, something just melts my heart about that. I'm 65 and consider myself pretty much an "old school" music guy. I first saw Billie on "Austin City Limits" and didn't give her a chance. I turned the channel. Very recently I heard her sing, I really heard her voice and couldn't stop listening to her. So many young singers these days are propped up by that "auto tune" technology. I think that's her real voice. Coupled with her brother Finneas, their song composition is amazing. I'm now a big fan.

I love watching them perform together. My two youngest children are so close like this and i am amazed by their relationship, empathy, love, and connection. There bring out a creativity in each other and have had the time to really be with each other and develop a deep trust . I do think that the fact that we homeschooled my daughter for the first few years has made a difference. People do not realize that gift of time you give siblings when you do not seperate them for a good part of their day at young ages. I definitely think the fact that they were homeschooled played its role in how deep their beautiful sibling relationship is and how they can create such beauty together.

A family business with a LOT of outsiders trying to get in and on that gravy train. Who'll blink first and start claiming the money is being mismanaged and not equally distributed. Who will be under the magnifying glass because their mumble mouth boyfriend has knocked up the goose laying the golden notes and is siphoning off the money for his wannabe posse of gold diggers? Osmonds, Jacksons, Ike and Tina... we've already seen this movie.
