I get so annoyed when people criticise her singing as untalented- I think people under appreciate how hard it is to sing like that coz they’re always focused on people who can belt it out being ‘ good’ singers give me Billie over Beyoncé any day. I was thinking exactly the same on the ‘sexiness’ but it’s done in a really natural not in your face way which I also appreciate. Never gonna not like a Billie song! Btw you guys are hilarious- love your reactions

Billie was 13 and her brother Finneas was 17, when they became noticed. They were both home schooled and both LP's were produced at home. Ocean Eyes was their first big hit and the video was made for her 14th birthday. Both Billie and Finneas write and produces the songs together and Billie now does her own music videos. You really need to see some of the older stuff, it is very dark. Billie suffered with depression and wrote about it, she also has tourettes which she kept quiet about until some people started to pick up on her strange ticks. At 19 she already has 10 grammys. Billie at 18 and Finneas are the youngest to write and preform James Bond theme No Time To Die, it was written in 3 days. You forget she is still only 19 and Finneas is 23, and have only really just started their journey. I'm a 51 year old fan, and I really do think they are brilliant. You really do need to see her new video happier than ever. I'm waiting lol

a lot of people think her outros which are all 22 seconds long are directed towards her ex who was 22 when she was 16, i believe she has even liked a few posts about this.

I think the long black screen at the end is so the KZbin recommendations that pop up at the end of the video don't show over the film clip... it's like a respect for the director thing

Her new song NDA seems really quite different, but she's a little more powerful in that one. I think in the James Bond song she created gave more power to her voice.

I don’t know his name but the one in the black hoodie was actually correct this was the middle finger to everybody that told her she needs to lose weight and it she doesn’t have the right body tight to make it in the industry there’s been a lot of crap thrown at her and through therapy and quarantine and figuring out who she is and finally falling in love with her own body when previously she hated it more than anything else in the world this video is sexual because of body positivity it had nothing to do with her age she said all of this the day it came out when she did a live stream
@Sara019773 жыл бұрын
I think of this song as a sequel to “My Future.” This song is obviously a diss track but the video also portrays her being happy with her friends, her body and her life. “My Future” reiterated that sentiment: I’m in love with my future. Can’t wait to meet her.I know I’m supposed to be unhappy without someone, but aren’t I someone? I see them as complementing songs.

Her MV is amazing because that’s basically a big fear of many men. Just having a group of girls making fun of them😂 About her being more sensual is that she’s basically growing up in front of everyone. A million people didn’t ask you why you stopped being goth or started wearing tank tops or put on a miniskirt and makeup to go out one day. Not every sexy outfit deserves a social justification. Let’s remember that!

Maybe it is because I am german and english is not my first language, but I see IRONY in this Billie Eilish video. The TEXT is about someone with no depth and without a course in life and a very superficial mindset - and that is exactly what she is showing in the VIDEO here, some superficial fun, no "big" thougths behind it, some of it seems childish and foolish - just like the person she is talking about. A Person empty as the 20 seconds black screen at the end... And focusing on how she is presenting her body in a more feminin way - that is very superficial too and not worth more than the note: that's different, may it have to do with the message?
