Ahhh, we finally got a chance to cover Billie Eilish! 🙌Sheesh these songs are good. And we got approximately one million requests for this one, so thank you guys for all the suggestions! The song sounds simple but the arrangement was a bit tricky because there are so many parts we wanted to play...the original has that continuous piano accompaniment, plus some prominent string solos, and parts with lush string harmonies. PLUS the two voices. We need more people in our band for this kind of song! We ended up liking the sound of a few extra cello lines layered in there (we record it live and then Patrick records the extra lines using headphones and playing along to the live recording). 🎧Let us know what you think! Also, Patrick is playing the GRAMMYS this weekend (lucky duck) with old Shawnie again so keep an eye out for him on TV on Sunday night! 👀📺🎻🕺(p.s. He arranged all the string parts!)
