I also think she’s a beautiful person, still lives with her parents in the house she grew up in too. She shows young girls you don’t need to be covered in makeup with fake boobs, butt injections and clothes showing everything off. She shows that the coolest teenager in the whole word is a girl who hates makeup, has crazy hair that she laughs about it breaking off because of all the dye, she gets them to live in the moment with her and is super respectful to her mother, father and everyone around her. In a world of highly managed and manufactured pop stars, Billie is real. She learned dance and singing and music through her childhood, had a great mentor in her talented older Brother, and had supportive parents. She was discovered by accident. And like Lady Gaga, is a voice for those who feel “different”. Let’s just enjoy the rare opportunity to see real talent blossom.
@djandersen394 жыл бұрын
One thing I believe most people don’t understand is that young people can attain mastery by their teen years. Derek Trucks, Chris Thile, Sarah Jarosz, both Sarah and Sean Watkins, Sierra Hull and Julian Lage are all musicians I can think of who started playing as grade schoolers, and could blow away most adults by their mid-teens. Billie is just another example of what young folk can accomplish if they catch a passion at a young age and are supported and nurtured to develop it.
