I get her so much. No joke, talking about how much i love my mom often sends me into a panic or anxiety attack. It just gets so overwhelming how much I depend on her, and the idea of losing her. My friend started to do drugs, my sister tried to commit suicide, and I’ve have been dealing with the sad genes. Vibe it’s a common thing for people who are depressed to hide it with a smile. A lot of depressed people do that because that don’t know how to express they feelings and emotions which is one of the reason Billie started righting music. A lot of therapists can even tell you writing down your feelings and expressing your self through music or art is very therapeutic. Poems, writing in a diary or journal, and music or ways to express yourself and not keep the emotions bottle up because that is really not healthy and cause cause people to do different things. So to all the people that are depressed, I deeply encourage you to invest in a journal, note book, a dairy and/or art supplies to help express yourselves and when you are ready share it with the people you know will help you. Ps. I used to want to be a psychologist/therapist when I was younger to help people. People in the world still love you.

I was suicidal throughout middle school and high school, hospitalized many times for thoughts. I told myself if I wasn’t better by 18 I would do it. Things did get better, even though I still struggle daily. Therapy and my family definitely keep me going. I want to hug this girl so bad because her and her brother help me through my negative thoughts, and the fact that she went through something similar, and that she is open about it, makes me appreciate her so much more. If anyone is reading this that is feeling suicidal please take it from me, it does get better, you deserve to be happy, and you are worthy of life.

It was expected to have a baby, even if you were miserable. In my opinion, it's better this way today. We wouldn't have families breaking apart if people who were creating families actually wanted them in the first place, not doing it because society expected it of them. Imagine getting married even if you didn't want to, putting your career, education and passions on hold to have a baby you don't want to and live like that for the rest of your life. People become unhappy, can't take it anymore and break up. This in turns scars your children because unhappy parents often do bad things. Those children grow up to never want a family of their own in turn. Every action has a reaction. Besides, a lot more people in the past would also pursue just career and travelling if it was their choice. And a lot would have families they want. Everyone has a different way of life. And that's okay.

being sad isn’t depression. A lot of kids or even young adults mistake being in a sad mood a lot is depression. What Billie had was real depression. It’s an illness worse than any sickness. Trust me. You can have everything you want in life and depression will make you not enjoy it. I went through a year of really bad depression. I had friends I hung out with, I went out and did things, I did my hobbies and interests. and it was still the worst year of my life.

I don't expect her to come out and say 'hey I was abused and mind controlled and that's why I wrote these songs' but she did write them and the lyrics and symbolism are hidden in plain sight. Her brother said in an interview that they wrote bury a friend on his 21st bday, which was less than 2 weeks after the death of Billie's friend, xxxtentacion (the same guy who died of 'gunshot wounds' despite there being no blood in the videos of him dead in his car. He was also fascinated with satanism and the occult). Mind controlled victims also don't usually have memory of their abuse, they're specifically traumatized in order to break their minds ('where is my mind') so that they can't remember what happened to them and so that they won't come out with the truth (although this has happened multiple times after mental deprogramming through the reports of Cathy O'Brien, Fiona Barnett). The issue in this country is that we refuse to believe child abuse victims, especially when they're in the social or political elite. Unfortunately that's where it happens very often because it's very lucrative. I agree, her mom and brother seem like sweet people, but that's not enough to prevent me from being worried about another humans welfare, especially after seeing what happened to other young, talented hopefuls who also lost their minds.

You may have it for all I know and are just not educated. That’s fine, but I would want to learn more about something before putting in your input. I was diagnosed with severe depression at eleven years old, and I can confirm that depression is not always caused by a “bad day”. I had a really okay childhood with not much issues. I was genuinely a happy kid, but one day I just broke down. There wasn’t a reason. It’s a chemical imbalance in the brain. You can gain depression from something traumatic happening (I have ptsd and definitely have gotten depression from it), but most people with depression have no root cause. I don’t know if you know this, but because depression is a chemical imbalance, it can also be genetic. Part of my depression comes from my mother and grandmother having it. You never know what someone is going through. I know you say some people are “faking it”, but you should NEVER accuse anyone of that. Sure, there are some out there, but you never know which ones are or aren’t.

I’m suicidal, I’ve never attempted suicide But the thought of hurting myself and killing myself rings in my head like a nightmare. I also do sometimes bruise myself, I don’t cut but I do hit myself with hard things like metal. I have experienced all of these things and more throughout my life so far, and since I have been diagnosed with chronic depression, it will never stop. And now she's won 5 Grammy Awards!! So proud of who she is and who she has become. She is my all-time favorite artist right now because she's just so humble and down-to-earth. It's very inspiring to me how great of a songwriter her and her brother are and and how great of a team they are. Much love for her and Finneas. 💕
